Dick McCarver speaks about "The Touch," at the 1995 Convention in Kona, Hawaii. Dick and Dave Abel coined the phrase about the time that they made it possible for all of their management teams to see the movie, "The Doctor," starring William Hurt that was showing in theaters at the time. Still a terrific movie if you haven't seen it. It's based on the true story of a Portland, OR physician, who wrote a book about his battle with cancer. The setting in the movie is San Francisco.
