ОтветитьThe warranty? Fictional.
Support? Gone.
Responsibility? All on you.
They didn’t just make returns difficult — they literally legalized silence.
I read their Terms & Conditions carefully. Here’s what they actually say:
– “Teenage Engineering will not be held responsible in case of lost parcel in return.”
If your return disappears — not their problem.
– “Shipping costs are paid by the customer on all returns.”
Even if it’s their fault, you pay.
– “We reserve the right to impose a fee or refuse to accept the repair.”
They can just say “no” and walk away.
– “Do not attempt to service the unit yourself — it will void the warranty.”
Touch a screw — lose your rights.
– “The warranty does not cover normal wear and any periodic maintenance.”
If you use it and it wears out — that’s on you.
– “These terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden.”
Want justice? See you in Stockholm.
– “Support will save your info for the product’s reasonable lifespan.”
They decide how long your device should live — not you.
– “You cannot send an item for repair without contacting support first.”
And if they ignore your messages (like they did mine)? Good luck.
The best part? They don’t even hide it. It’s all right there in black and white.
TE doesn’t sell gear.
They sell aluminum NFTs in real life.
And their support model? Ghost you until your warranty quietly expires.
Read the terms. I did. Now I know better
I checked the terms of other companies I buy gear from — and turns out, TE has the absolute worst.
Straight-up aluminum scam.
can't see shit captain
