As someone who was never a Bernie fan, this interview really helps me relate to him more.

It should have been Bernie in 2016. I know many who would have voted for him over what we got.

Biden and Harris are fully responsible for the current economic crisis and rocketing inflation. VP Harris’ economic Plans are far larger than the economy can sustain or support. She carries a stark insensitivity concerning citizens of this country, as taxpayers, we are burdened with soaring debt that her plan will cost, projected to include rising exorbitant undocumented migrants costs, and two proxy wars. There’s no relief - no safety net for law enforcement or for the military. They are Bankrupting the country by out of control spending.

We were never set up as a democracy, we are a republic with democratic elections. Start the conversation from that point. And Canadian health care sucks. Separate paying nothing to what your health care is. What do Canadians do when they really need health care? They pay out of pocket, its not free

Bernie should have been more assertive about how dangerous Dump is and that Harris is a good candidate.

That said: Theo and Bernie should do a series about basic knowledge about political science, that would be so much fun and an excellent teaching moment

BTW Russia has and always had the same healthcare system as the Canadian one praised by Bernie so much. Such a shame the US oligarchy tends to choose controversial figures no one wants to vote for, instead of picking leaders with sanity and just common sense that can really do some good for the sake of the people and the world as a whole, and then go as far as call this circus a democracy.

This is the first Theo Von Podcast I’ve fully seen and dude is a great interviewer!
Bernie like always slays. America messed up bad not electing him as president. The guy has been for the people his whole life and is still for the middle and lower class. Not only that but look how sharp he is despite his age. He would have been the greatest president of our time
