I know it's easy to be a critic, but aren't you dumping a surprising amount of kerosine in that gas generator's exhaust? I know an open cycle gas generator has to run fuel rich, but I'd want to iterate on that design and try to see if I could get the same amount of pressure out of the gas generator while dumping a bit less fuel out the exhaust.
BTW, I always think the visuals on an engine with film cooling are pretty amazing. But that's probably because I was a kid when I first saw that effect on the Apollo F1 engines at launch.
