Bro, you forgot the 3rd generation's incessant, inevitable head gasket failure. They all do it eventually apparently. No definite reason as to why it happens to them in particular.

I have a 2010 Prius with only 120k miles with multiple issues.

1/ abs brake light
2/ check hybrid

I did not fix no1. yet the no2 popped up recently. Now the car is NOT going anywhere as i am unable to start the car at all.

Almost 251 thousand miles without any major issues. Sadly she was totaled by my insurance company due to a rear end accident two weeks ago. Now we start over.

Love my 2017 Prius Two and happen to think she’s a beauty! Far better looking than the generations before. The “Orca” look is refreshing and easy on the eye pal. Get some glasses! Comfortable, handles great, super gas mileage, and has a figure that won’t quit! Whooooo-hooooo!

I think this video is overly harsh on the gen4. Styling is objective and, granted I’m biased as I’m looking to buy one - but come on! The plug in looks fantastic. Mine won’t have the massive iPad on the dash. I have test driven one and the car has excellent build quality. The first Prius was ugly. This one is just fine and looks bang up to date despite the all new model for 2023. 😊

Nice job car angel good video listen I just I currently drive a 2014 prius and I'm about to trade it in it's a gen 3 I was looking at the gen 4 and I got in and it had the Michael Jackson interior and when I saw the white plastic on the steering wheel and the cup holders and the console it looked so cheap it was almost a complete turn off. the black & white seats I didn't mind but yeah I don't know what the hell they were thinking. I'm looking at getting a used prius, and heard that the 2nd gen was the best one, and to get a 2014 or 2015 if possible. Sadly, I only have $3000, so most of what I'm seeing are salvage titles. None of the sellers state why the car is a salvage, so I'm staying away from "wild" titles. I need it to last me a year or two while I save up to get a newer used car. I'm way too nervous about buying a used prius with more than 200K miles on it with the original hybrid battery.

Just got a 2019 Prius Prime and I happen to love the look. I have the Advanced model. All the bells and whistles. Color heads up display, 10 speakers. Watch The Car Care Nut on this car. AMD is the reason I bought this. He doesn’t bash the looks or the Robot Face of the steering wheel. I’m sorry that you don’t like the looks of the car Greg. But a lot of us do

I think you have it backwards. Gen 4 is by farrrrrrrr the best looking Prius. Granted the bumpers aren't functional but every other generation is hideous. Gen1,2 and 3 are the reason that they are considered bland and boring. Give Gen 4 a break, at least it's trying to look cool!

Common 3rd gen issues not mentioned, ABS assembly failure which should become a recall. Head gasket failure usually on cylinder number 1. Other than that you pretty much covered it all.

I've always wondered about the prius. Wow that's some amazing gas mileage on the 4th generation. I wonder what type of gas mileage the other generations got.

Mine has 256,000 still going strong.

Would you recommend buying a 2012 or 2013 Prius in late 2024 with slightly over 200,000 km Mileage? I am getting it at around 1700 USD. Please advise on this, I am more concerned about when the battery going to be completely dead!!

So the 4th generation designers went to work for Tesla and told them to clean up the front end but it's fine for drivers to take their eyes off the road and interior quality or color options don't matter.

The 4th generation ugly calls into question the lockstep obedience thinking of Toyota employees.

I marvel at watching these zoom by me on interstate with little old lady's going like a bat out of hell. I'm doing 70, their going 80/85. Get out of Grandma's way (I'm 70). I do wonder about tail gaters. Every ones in a damn hurry to leave the planet or help some one else along the way. If I it something in the road its gonna come through your windshield.
