Why does it have to be a demon...I'd rather say she has an inner peace that slays any demon.❤❤
Ответить😊love the night part
ОтветитьWhat an inspirational, lovable badass! Having a beer and a laugh after 50 hours of running?! :D
ОтветитьShe is inspirational and so tough mentally. True ambassador to the sport.
ОтветитьGreat documentary I enjoyed every minute start to finish!
ОтветитьGreat job. I would like to see you run the Barkley marathon.
ОтветитьI’ve never felt like such a bitch in my life.. insane and inspiring what one person can achieve… me driving my Honda at max speed would seem like a drag to cover this distance, to do it on your own two feet, just wow..
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful documentary! Courtney you are amazing and your crew, what an amazing support team you all are💕. This truly drives me to be better!!!
ОтветитьI do not know how this is humanly possible. Truly amazing to watch.
ОтветитьWow! Humbling. Inspiring. Impressive. What a tiger! Go Courtney.
Ответитьthis is such a great video thank you! such an inspiration!
ОтветитьPhew! I am 1 week away from my first marathon. Started training at 50 yrs age, BMI of 28, and took me 6 long months.
Have sacrificed sleep,, Entertainment, with lots of running across trails and parks.
Now, 6 months later, can't wait for it. Did 3 , 20 plus miles runs. BMI went down to 26 already.
Wish me luck 🤞
Wow. Thats all. Wow.
Ответитьthis is so motivating and I love it!
ОтветитьOutstanding performance!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьUpdate: in 2023 she won western states, hard rock and UTMB in the same summer!!!
ОтветитьYou inspire me to be better for my son. He saw me do a 100k in 2019 and he’ll see me do a marathon in 2024 after being fairly unhealthy throughout 2022/2023. Our family are inspired by you.
ОтветитьThis lifts me higher!
ОтветитьFoching incredible! What an inspiration. Courtney is a beast.
Ответитьthis seems unhealthy, to be honest
ОтветитьLove this.. ❤️ such an inspiration to keep going..
ОтветитьWow
So inspiring
What a fighter
I wish I could meet u one day
amazing documentary, so much inspiration!
ОтветитьPut in perspective this is like running a 7-8 marathons back to back. Incredible
ОтветитьWatching this in 2024 and wondering what they all would have thought if they’d known back then what Courtney would go on to achieve in 2023😮
ОтветитьI love Courtney he inspired me to go more
ОтветитьGreat documentary.
ОтветитьJoe Rogan: "Her demon's a quiet demon. It's there." Dauwalter: "I don't like to fail and I want to finish everything I start." [chuckling] "Is that a demon?" Joe's obsession that ultra endurance athletes must have demons is so frustrating. It's not unlike the "tortured artist" trope. Just because some great athletes and artists battled addiction or some other "demon" does not at all indicate all athletes/artists must. Get over it, Joe, you are insulting her accomplishments! Don't over complicate it: she has unbelievable willpower and she works really hard.
ОтветитьAmazing. What an amazing athlete and human being
ОтветитьGreat video, by the way, that kid's lucky, the little girl just meet one of the best humans we have
ОтветитьAmazing. Can no longer box due to problems with my hands so will now take up ultra running as my new hobby
ОтветитьIn Jesus Christ , we can do anything
ОтветитьI thought they actually ran 100 miles not walked as well, and i didnt know they stopped and ate and rested, i thought they just ran 100 miles no rest, no walking..just running...now i see i was wrong
ОтветитьCourtney is the more humble, female version of David Goggins
ОтветитьI'm just getting into long distance walking - then started to (what I called) "my shuffle" on the down hills and I liked it because it seem to give my 57 year old knees a break from the discomfort. The rest of my whole body wasn't tired and was beginning to like these shuffling sections (I live in a very hilly area). But just after 16 miles (8 miles between and a day off in between), I felt pain along the top of my foot and shin. Everything I could find on line said to get off of it for 2 - 6 weeks!! I was like what!!!??? I doubt these ultra marathon runners get told this, when all I hear from them how they fight through the pain cave. Even doctors tell us "ordinary people" to take it easy.... well I don't want to! I want to train, I want to be out there, but how and from who do you learn when to push through and when not to, what should be paid attention to and what should be ignored? Where do you find a doctor that is trained on how to get you back out doing what you love and not one (like nearly all I've ever seen) that just tells you to sit back down and stop it? Your story is so inspiring thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьSo captivating to see her moods and energy intake shift throughout the race
Ответить"She has less than 20min to do 2mi". Then a shot of her crossing the finish with 5min30s to spare. That was after having run 200mi+. I can't believe that's humanly possible.
Ответитьwell.... I suppose I'm in a minority (of one) but, though this, like many documentaries, looks really really interesting, and inspiring, the 'background' muzak is a distraction for me.... and I had to give up....
ОтветитьThe take away is really the validation . Although I have always and still enjoy the viserole act of running and ineffable " fun " which comes from taking what is essentially a profuntory human trait of prepulsion and fun then elongating it , pushing it and explicating as a skill a personal art form . Validation that its that process that is transferable . Knowingly challenging ones self into the uncomfortable liminal spaces which running yeilds . are my motivation . The process of manifesting walls to climb and learing the resilience to best climb them is the gift I take away from running .
Regarding the video . Your approach is great . The praxia of diologue is perfect and your tone is refreshingly humble which helps to illicit the best from your guest without immodest need to keep affirmaing your own credentials which is often the down fall of a lot of other podcasters .
you guys are incredible.
I loved this documentary I think they told your storie and you explained what you went through so well. You will give hope and inspiration to so many people. I've never met a stronger person and We are so proud to call you my daughter-in-law. big hugs to you and Tylor. I can only imagine what you guys will decide to do next. Just remember I always have your back and will support both of you on whatever you guys do next!!! xoxxo
Anyone here on 2024? Courtney is a fucking BEAST!
ОтветитьWhen your body is pushed to the point of death….. you remember that pain. Nothing else compares to that pain. Everything else is just discomfort.
ОтветитьLegend🙌🏽🔨
ОтветитьWhat keeps her going if there’s no Demon the answer is obvious, what Pete Demons easily?
LOVE!
If I could pick any pro athlete to meet and chat with, it would be her! Her super-human mind is something to be studied! What an incredible human
ОтветитьLove her basketball shorts lol
ОтветитьI really hope to meet Courtney and Just Kevin someday.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful human being. You are a role model for generations of women around the world.
Absolutely world class in all realms of life.
