This was really bad. The show, I mean. Hated it.
ОтветитьWasted my time watching this series.... Ugh. Netflops....😂
ОтветитьI was born and raised in a town next to Westfield. I passed this house many times over the years. The Netflix story line is fictional. The homeowners never moved into the house. The letters were received while the house was being renovated. The prime suspect was the son of the elderly neighbor. He was interviewed by the police but would not admit to writing the letter and the police did not have enough proof/evidence to arrest him. He died in a hospice center in 2020--2 months after his 99 year old mother died, and a few months after the new owners moved in. The former homeowners purchased another home in Westfield under a LLC, so their new address would remain private. The List family, who lived in Westfield and was murdered by their husband/dad/son is buried 1-2 miles from this house. Whitney Houston, her daughter and father are also buried at this cemetery (Fairview Cemetery).
ОтветитьI was so hoping that the tunnels was real and there usually in real old house in the north east used as part of the Underground Railroad I seen in Boston we use to jack up houses and we did one from the 1700’s and we got it off the old foundation and they found a tunnel that led to nowhere maybe a house across or it was caved in the GC told me
ОтветитьWhoever is behind those letters has made illegal threats. It's strange that the police haven't thoroughly investigated this case because of that. Whoever is behind those letters should be held accountable for what they wrote.
ОтветитьIt was good I thought
Ответить10 Cameras…. Not a 1 pointed anywhere near the mailbox. Show was garbage after the first episode. Didn’t need to be 7 episodes. My guess is the actual couple wrote the letters themselves to get out of buying the property.
ОтветитьAll I know is that whoever pulled this prank is sitting somewhere laughing their ass off. But unfortunately they can't tell anyone.
ОтветитьI honestly though it was a great show! Last episode was sort of disappointing but it had me on edge most the time. When I learned the actual story was completely different I was a little upset but I figured it was dramatized. The only part that genuinely bugged me was the tunnel scene. Like you stumbling on a deep tunnel system in your home where someone clearly was living in but then never mention it again???? I don’t know. Definitely a creative show for Netflix standards but the ending could have been better.
ОтветитьThis series was terrible imo
ОтветитьI hate it when a show says "based on a true story" but half of it is made up. It started sort of good but then it got kind of comical at the end and ruined it.
ОтветитьThat Karen
I got young blood for her
Does the house have tunnels tho? Was that right?
Ответить😆...so hardly anything is accurate.
ОтветитьThey have more fiction then facts this show need to be off Netflix
Ответитьdid anyone else think the therapist at the end sounded like the watcher!?
Ответитьif a family of 5 moved in from texas, this watcher shit is over real quick
ОтветитьI love how hollywood does virtue signalling, lecturing and various appropiations IN A FKING MYSTERY RELATED STORY
ОтветитьBig waste of time, HUGE!
ОтветитьI just finished it today.
ОтветитьSO THIS MOVIE IS A CROCK OF SHIT . JUST HOLLYWOOD TWISTING REALITY FOR A DOLLAR .
ОтветитьSo all of the parts that made no sense to me, were made up?
ОтветитьThe board rejected the "2-home-proposal" by the developer. Now the neighborhood has company everyday, congratulations! $🤑$
ОтветитьNo, im watching this
ОтветитьI thought the show was dumb. Over done on every level. Why can’t anyone make a decent show these days. Just so overdone. The actors weren’t that good either
ОтветитьThey did a poor job
ОтветитьStupid show.
ОтветитьI live 3 towns away from Westfield and worked in the town for a short period of time. It’s nothing like how it’s portrayed on the show. It’s an incredibly tight knit community, how a beautiful downtown and great parks. If it wasn’t so expensive I would’ve moved there
ОтветитьI stumbled across this show, but I actually liked it. Had no idea of the original story so I had a blank slate 🤷🏾♂️
ОтветитьWhy does the watcher sound like that chimera girl
ОтветитьIf the "Watcher" was never found...Why the FK would A...They make a show about it ? B...What is the point in watching it ?...You wouldn't buy a ticket for a football game and leave at half time.
ОтветитьStarted episode 1 and stopped when I knew something was probably going to happen to the ferret. Looked up online to see which episode it was going to happen in. Then, I decided to just watch the recap and review of the whole thing so as not to waste 7 hours. I'm glad I did!
Ответитьits a show, its funny that anyone would compare its likeness to the real story
ОтветитьStupid series
ОтветитьWaisted almost 7 hours of my life 🥴
ОтветитьJust finished watching the show, it was slow at first but after episode 2 it gets more interesting.
ОтветитьAnother stupid series that i have watched and just have no ending or any explanation. Just stupid. Don't watch
ОтветитьWorst show I have ever tried to watch. Completely horrific 👎
ОтветитьThis properties it's costly, priced $105,0000 one hundreds five millions dollars, today standard yrs, 2023s
ОтветитьThis must have been before Ring doorbells 😂 The "Watcher" would get posted on nextdoor for all their neighbors to roast
ОтветитьIt doesn’t bother me that it takes liberties with the true story or that it can be really campy at points (casserole mention-- is it purposefully making us think of the parody series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window?). What makes this series bad is the way it has characters tell too much without showing, which makes the show slower and kind of boring for a thriller. Second, why would they dress Dean in a full beige suit if there isn't meaning in the color scheme? Just so many missed opportunities in this show!
ОтветитьI was hoping you would use some Buzzfeed Unsolved footage and I am not disappointed.
ОтветитьSo Derek was the watcher. He didnt want to keep the house so he made the letters to convince his wife to not move in and sell. My guess is he regretted the buy.
ОтветитьThe best part was when watcher said : why so serious? As he held his victim hostage
ОтветитьI’ve always wanted to watch this show but I just never got around to it. I’ve heard of the real story and it’s so creepy to think of someone watching you and your house.
ОтветитьI enjoyed it very much
ОтветитьIt's the zodiac killer.
ОтветитьThis is a ridiculous "click bait" post.
For idiots. Who do not understand Anything about possible lawsuits. If someone "is inspired by" an event, they cannot use Anything that makes the source clear without facing possible lawsuits. They MUST change details.
Thought that every intelligent individual already knew this.
