ОтветитьMe acabo de suscribir , yo soy el 239 , es un buen canal y me gusto este video y otro que vi ! Saludos desde México 🖖😃🇲🇽 muchas gracias !
ОтветитьThis is priceless.
ОтветитьChicago was one of my favorite groups growing up. I am now 70 yrs old. Terry's talent totally blew me away. I hope your journey of discovery was satisfying and enlightening. "Color My World" was one of the two songs my wife wanted in our wedding ceremony. It is still relevant today 50 yrs later.
ОтветитьThis is a beautiful thing. Awesome!
ОтветитьMi guitarra favorito. Viva Yeste y San Bartolo
ОтветитьI think that if Terry Kath had not died, he would have eventually went out on his own. He plays, sings, and writes songs as good as Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, Clapton, etc. He has a tremendously soulful voice, and I don't believe, for one minute, he would have spent his whole career with a pop band like Chicago. He also had a gritty side, and was one of the best guitar players ever. I just think he was way too good to stay with Chicago.
ОтветитьAnyone who knows guitar players knows very well who he was....he was just unbelievable.....I love him....glad u did this...
ОтветитьTerry's playing still gives me goosebumps 50 years later, one of the best ever! And his vocals had that great blues vibe . The documentary is done really well, thank you for that. I remember the day he died, so shocking and tragic. RIP to a great soul.
ОтветитьEnded up watching everything I could find about Kath and Chicago after first seeing his daughter’s movie. I never appreciated how good they were. It’s clear that Kath was the driving force of Chicago and they were simply different, and sadly not as good, without him. Not their fault, he was irreplaceable.
ОтветитьA legend I never heard of until recently. Of course I heard of his band but didn’t realize he was probably one of the greatest musicians of all time
ОтветитьUnderstand his daughter’s longing for her Dad
ОтветитьI used to write letters to all the band members for years for their birthdays and at Christmas! I was just a teen ager when my dad brought in the mail. We lived in the country then. I was dozing and overheard dad tell my mom that I had gotten a letter from one of the Chicago's. I woke right up to go see! And it was a letter with your dad's autograph at the bottom!!! That gave me a high for weeks after! Got one from Walter too! I still have them! I loved the music. Your dad had this raw, down to earth bluesy sound in his voice and his 🎸 guitar!! He was truly one of a kind!
ОтветитьI keep stumbling to my feet hearing u
ОтветитьTerry the best guitar .....Genio rapidez y talento y aparte cantaba que más? Desde Mty México . Chicago es Terry Terry es Chicago
ОтветитьI am sure that your father is as proud of you and you are of him. Bravo.
ОтветитьJimi Hendrix allegedly said it about Kath. I've heard that he allegedly said it about Rory Gallagher and Billy Gibbons.
ОтветитьHe was amazing!
ОтветитьTerry Kath was one of my guitar heroes and I hate to disagree with his own daughter but while Terry was in the band, Chicago was a rock band, not pop. After Terry died, they did seem to go more of a pop ballad style. But not while Terry was alive. They were definitely FM rock with maybe a slight jazz influence
ОтветитьThis makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. I have already seen the documentary. It's really good.
ОтветитьHe was out of this world then and he is out of this world now. His daughter seems so lovely.
Sorry you had to grow up without your dad MKS :(
I watched it maybe a year or so ago, I absolutely loved it!🍻
ОтветитьTerry Kath, the best ever!
ОтветитьHe was the one, the leader of Chicago and he was better than Jimi Hendrix
ОтветитьNo sound like that before or after
ОтветитьTerry was the only reason Chicago was successful in the early years .
Sorry he was influenced by the wrong thugs. Guns drugs and egotistical personnel .
Terry lives on in his music.
Chicago...not so much.
I saw Chicago in 2004, in Vegas. It was at the Stardust, which doesn't exist anymore. They were phenomenal but I was born in 1965, and I grew up with Dad playing Chicago with Terry. Something was missing at that concert. He sang beautiful songs. Just beautiful. ❤
ОтветитьI only just "discovered" him, he was so full of soul.. great musician and singer !!
ОтветитьMichelle really looks like Terry❤
ОтветитьI am sorry for your great loss, Terry has brought joy and happiness to millions.
ОтветитьI wish Michelle would release all the footage that didn't make documentary
ОтветитьIf they did a Chicago Bio Movie Michael Gandolfini could play Terry Kath
ОтветитьGreat work . You are Blessed in many ways . Your Dad was a Great Guitarist , put together one of the most influential bands of the Century. He had his own sound and style . He was admired by fellow musicians. My Mom got to see Chicago later of course in the early 2000's before she passed from Cancer . Keep following your Heart with your Dad. 🎸🎸🎸
ОтветитьBeautiful young lady, looks just like her dad.
ОтветитьThis is awesome! Beautiful job.
Merci Monsieur Terry KATH
ОтветитьOye Gollo.
Pásalo en Español.
Gracias.
A quien corresponda.
Man I can see Terry in his daughter’s face. He was sooo talented!
ОтветитьMichelle, do not ever own a handgun. ok?
ОтветитьBonjour from Paris worldwide friends. The film dates from 2017. Since then, no release in France or Paris. On the platforms perhaps to be able to re-discover Terry Kath. So nice Sunday & goodluck too everyone.
ОтветитьTerry Kath has been my favorite rock and roll guitarist since I first heard Chicago (then called Chicago Transit Authority) back in the early 70’s. As a musician, I can hear the logic and structure in his solos!! And, of course, as a trumpet player, I loved that Chicago was a rock and roll band with horns!! In case Michelle sees this comment, Jimi Hendrix was right—Michelle’s dad was THE BEST rock and roll guitarist EVER—PERIOD.
Ответитьgod bless you ur a dead look of ur dad x
ОтветитьYou sure do favor your dad.
Ответить78 lot of bad things happened, the blizzard of 78' then the Guyana tragedy, and terrys death.
ОтветитьI'm Norwegian and Finnish
ОтветитьTerry infused Rock, blues,and jazz
Ответитьyour Father was a Great Guitarist
ОтветитьThis documentary should be available on Netflix as well as their other Chicago concerts 60-90s cause after that it's just rehash of their songs
ОтветитьI was born in 67. I grew up in suburban chicago, my dad had like a poor mans studio in the attic. A electric guitar, a small amp, and a set of sears drums.
He had a real to real with only 2 tapes/ albums. One was chicago, one was temptations.
I was hooked first time i heard chicago As well as temptations.
Both were horn bands that made their sound huge.
But chicago stood out because of the guitar work that the temptations lacked in my young mind.
And hearing Terry wail on 25 or 6 to 4 made me want to play guitar.
Still get feelings when i hear that tune.
