@multiheresjohnny: You may be right but any amount of drag from the release of his chute would've been better than just freefalling onto solid ground.

@TsugaruClan I've seen this stunt with Otto and John Mohr before, and the way it typically works is the biplane flies by, the helicopter right above, and then the wing walker grabs right onto the skid of the helicopter. It then flies around for a bit, and then drops him off at the center of the runway. It was always a thrilling stunt because this was always a possibility, but obviously no one wants to see that. RIP Todd Green....

He shouldn't be doing this in the first place with kids and a family. Find a new job, but RIP the same, I feel horrible :(

Its not fake It happened yesterday at the Selfridge Air Show in Michigan.

In my opinion I think it was too windy out there for that type of stunt. Word is that after has death the FAA is making stricker laws for these types of stunts

Todd was one of my friends, I got to see him perform the day before his accident and he did it so well..to see the next day him falling to his death, I really wish they would have called the stunt off because the winds were really strong, R.I.P. Todd Green

He did not deserve to die but he was a professional daredevil, there's always a risk to doing stunts like this and he knew what he was getting into. Why didn't he wear a safety harness?
