Ответить"piss off"............:)
ОтветитьCan someone please make a meme of James O'Keefe and project veritas listening in to CNN calls that would be great thank you
ОтветитьThis scene is probably the reason I love this movie of all the others, and I like the Daniel Craig version of Bond.
ОтветитьIMHO, It reminds me of how Trump and patriots are exposing the Deep State....or more like they are exposing themselves.
ОтветитьWhick series this scene
ОтветитьShit on it!!!!!
ОтветитьThis movie is already 13 years old... wow, I feel so old. 😅
ОтветитьShit on it.
ОтветитьRest peacefully, Paul Ritter.
ОтветитьShit film, amazing scene
ОтветитьEM 2020 Eröffnungsfeier
ОтветитьWell, Tosca isn't for everyone
ОтветитьMost underrated Bond movie ever
Ответитьmr white is the smartest Quantum member...
Ответить"Tosca isn't for everyone" -- the Quintessential Opera Connoisseur's Snobbish Quip.
Perfect.
This was the only, and really the only, scene in A Quantum Of Solace that I consider Bond worthy.
ОтветитьHow rude to leave at the end of the first act :D
ОтветитьSorry—is this Scarpia a tenor?
ОтветитьIf you know what these 2 arie from Tosca is about, then you'll realize its striking parallel to this particular scene in the film. A true stroke of genius!
PS This is the other classical piece apart from Tschaikovsky's 1812 that uses cannons
Shot in my home town. How delightful.
ОтветитьNot one of my favourite Bond films but this scene is great. RIP Paul Ritter - a great talent taken far too soon
ОтветитьThe editing assassinated this scene.
Ответитьmaybe the greatest action scene
ОтветитьWhat I loved in this scene was how Mr. White realizes exactly what Bond is trying to do: flush out the Quantum members in the audience. White knows MI6 is still in the dark about their identities, but that anonymity works against the members because they panic at the slightest hint of discovery. White knows the smartest thing to do is disconnect and watch the show. He is even cool enough to joke with his wife about the seemingly random people leaving. I wish we got to see more of White. The actor was fantastic and I know there is more to this man's story than we have been told.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the act in the scene? Is this act 1, 2 etc?
ОтветитьI've just watched Quantum for the first time yesterday. I've been blown away by this scene, to my opinion, one of the very best of all James Bond. Music has always an important place in these movies, but the choice of these moments of Tosca is pure genius (first act final Te Deum, death of Mario, Tosca assassinating Scarpia), not only for the dramatic atmosphere of the music, but also for the parallel we can make between the two stories. Great piece of art.
ОтветитьI used to think it was stupid of Bond to interject and alert them to his presence, but then I realised it was actually very clever. He couldn't discern them amongst the audience so he let them know he was onto them, provoking them into standing up to leave and thus reveal who they were for him to identify.
ОтветитьI am actually from Vorarlberg the Capital of which is Bregenz where this is filmed. I actually live in a town near of this and my brains was blown away by the fact that this was filmed here. Cause where i live is fairly isolated so this was pretty amazing for me to find out. I feel kinda proud to say my little home state, had a literal appearance in a James bond movie.
ОтветитьOh my, the voice on the lead guy singing in 'Tosca' , wow, the whole opera is lush!
ОтветитьIk this may be old but is that E lucevan le stelle playing?
ОтветитьThis scene, and the opera scene from Mission Impossible Rogue Nation are my two favorites. Lol whats up with spy movies and opera? Shit is excellent.
ОтветитьWhen this scene plays I have to put the volume to max, the crescendo is perfect
ОтветитьMe gustaría que el próximo James Bond sea el actor Aaron Taylor Jhonson
ОтветитьI cant believe that I live 15 minutes away from these scenes (Bodensee)
ОтветитьMy city :) Bregenz.
ОтветитьI think QoS is underated. The opening chase scene with the long shot over the lake is a belter. And for me this is a top 5 Bond scene. Its filmed at Bregenz, Austria where the audience sits on the land and the huge stage sits on stilts in the lake. They rerun Tosca every 5-6 years. Within 3 hours you can be in Switzerland on the Furka Pass where there is the Goldfinger Bend.
ОтветитьI visited the location where they filmed this today… so cool!
ОтветитьI never understood the logic of having their nefarious conversation at the opera. Even if bond wasnt there, they could be overheard (or shushed) by the people sitting near them.
Though props to mr. White for making the smart call.
if not for the terrible editing and the writers' strike, this film could've been right up there with casino royale.
Ответить
Meine Mutter darauf: "Nein. Seit heute Mittag sind sie hier" und lachte.
Ich hätte mir in den Ar*** beißen können. 😂😂
Wenn ich das gewusst hätte, hätte ich um ein Foto und Autogramm gefragt.
