Left off part II… As for getting gunk inside the barrel… carried both the 1911 and M-9 in the Army. Went to a few dirty places. Never had a problem with getting trash or debris in the action, slide or barrel. We did carry our sidearm in a full cover holster so, that likely part of the solution set. Good holsters make the difference.
Ответитьwhere is the like button all the firearm channels have no like buttons
ОтветитьI had no idea people put comps on pistols?? Is this a thing? I actually lol'd. I mean let's be real about 1) what is a carry for? and 2) what is the average distance when using a carry in application? And 3) Colion addresses the shooting in the dark thing, so this is not a factor as well. Low-priority upgrade. Put comps on rifles, it's a medium to long-range improvement.
ОтветитьMuzzle flash makes a difference in a gun fight, I personally know this, it surprises you. So, train will over come that challenge,
ОтветитьWell you gotta go with what works for you. We all compromise to find the best balance for ourselves.
ОтветитьFunny tactic. You don’t shoot a lot unless you buy a compensated handgun and notice it immediately. Maybe you NEED a compensator, and red dot, and GOS guided bullets but many of us are still happy with regular handguns.
ОтветитьGreat video, didn't know there was such a thing, now I do lol
ОтветитьDepends on a number of factors, including shooter ability, shooting styles and concealability. Personally, I'll take additional concealability over the effects of a compensator but to each their own.
ОтветитьMost definitely, I run a Harrington arms on my Glock 43x and it should literally come on that gun
ОтветитьDPM recoil reduction springs are great.
ОтветитьYou get comped for the vid?
ОтветитьYou ever shoot from retention with a comp or ported gun? You do it once and that's about it. Also, in the rare case you shoot from inside your vehicle, good luck with a comp or ported barrel
ОтветитьTerrible idea for a carry gun. At night you'll get a nice fireball that can blind you temporarily.
ОтветитьComps are louder for sure.... flash is an issue at night depending on ammo. They can be distracting and allow you to be seen better at night...ammo dependent though
ОтветитьYes it is
ОтветитьI’ve watched you for several years now and I’ve enjoyed your progression in both skill and knowledge
ОтветитьNo. Next question.
ОтветитьHeck yeah I love my hellcat pro. I’m so pissed that I put an extended threaded barrel and SA comp on mine right before the release of the comp version. That said I love the comp and extra length. Doesn’t even bug me much while carrying
ОтветитьFunny, I remember everyone in the world pretty much talking s*** about the C Compensated models that Glock came out with years ago. “ They’ll blind you at night “ etc. I believe they were the first in mass produced/ offered models. Now what’s out is in.. I have a G17C, G22C and G23C and will never get rid of them. Rest in Peace Gaston !
ОтветитьSuch a snappy little pistol. Love my hellcat, but it jumps around
ОтветитьIt’s not comped, it’s ported
ОтветитьTerrible choice for carry piece. You may be involved in a close combat situation where you have to pull the pistol back close to your body. Then the flash and whatever metal bits that fly up through that top port hole may hit you in the face.
ОтветитьI like the idea of it but also people should just work on their grip and fundamentals to make them a better shooter. Nothing is going to replace training and hard work.
Ответить😳 An indoors steel target shooting range I need one in my area asap damm
ОтветитьWhat about a 10mm comp
ОтветитьConcerned about the flash? That's the coolest part!
ОтветитьThey absolutely work too. It’s not a massive difference but it definitely takes the snap out of a gun.
ОтветитьLove the standard hellcat pro with the threaded barrel and index comp.
ОтветитьI should have waited to buy my hellcat pro comp.... should have learned from the 30 sig variations that came out in a year lol
ОтветитьEvery single point you made is valid. Compensators definitely help control recoil which improves follow-up shots. I shoot weekly on an outdoor range on steel and USPSA targets with a timer from concealed. I would rather put an Icarus grip on my 365 and an M carbo trigger to avoid the gritty creep. We also shoot extreme close quarters drills and the blast from a compensator definitely wakes you up. No shade though. To each his own. If you actually need to use your gun, compensator blast is the least of your problems.
Ответить“I dont go anywhere without them”
Does that mean the bed too?
if it's good enough for John Wick, it's good enough for me 🤣
ОтветитьMy everyday carry is a government model 1911-A1, 5.5" barrel with a two port compensator, 45acp.
ОтветитьLove the shirt you were wearing that says “I guess you’re not here about the tobacco or alcohol”, where do I get one? Video was super helpful thank you!
ОтветитьThank You Sir! A great review!
ОтветитьI like the comp guns... I just purchased my first glock 17c. It's funny how all these manufacturers are compensating their barrels now when glock did this year's ago..😂😂
ОтветитьHaving a pistol barely move seems like a huge advantage in a gunfight. Comp time!
ОтветитьThx
ОтветитьVolin run for office my friend
ОтветитьSo….spend money UPFRONT for a compensator, or just spend extra for 380 ammo?
ОтветитьThis Mf is tight
ОтветитьI love my Hellcat pro comp. I’ve never had an issue with any gas or debris coming back at my face
ОтветитьFirst time I shot a comped Glock I was shocked how LOUD it was. The blast wave hits your face on a 17C and I did not enjoy it. It also did minimal to change the recoil impulse, in my opinion.
ОтветитьI loved my hellcat pro till I tried a Masada slim. The Masada is so much better, more comfy and the trigger is night and day.
ОтветитьNew edc is a sig 365 X macro comp.
Ответить"gUnZ aRnT pOLiTicAL, tHaTs wHy i nEeD yOu tO bUy mY TsHiRtS"
ОтветитьIm going to comp my beretta 380, cuz why not?? Terrible hush can host, and i gotta use a threaded barrel in some way
ОтветитьI wish they made it in desert color…
