How To Mix Rondo A Brushable Body Filler For Fiberglass & Pepakura Projects

Can you put rondo on body work.

back in the day, this was a important training video that i learned alot from. I mainly buy and rebuild and paint 93-97 Camaro's which are almost intirely made of plastic reinforced fiberglass, and rondo is the best filler-patch-cover for that year of cars. Bondo on fiberglass will eventually crack.

Good afternoon. So I have a question about the rondo mixture. If I was to mix it and only put a little bit of hardner and activator in it would it still harden up? I’m needing to do this but I don’t want the mixture to get hard while I’m in the middle of doing my project. Any chance no would be great thanks.

Bro my Rondo is hardening up on me before I can finish spreading it. I’ve had the resin do this to me too when I try to make too much at one time. Do I need to stay out of direct sunlight?

Sticky lexus door panels sanded down and I just need a paintable surface now, I'm not changing the shape of them in anyway. Should I fiberglass them or can I just put this on them?

WOW. I was searching for some ideas on pinhole filler and glaze and what not, and came across this gem! This is a great idea! I had been using the plastik honey from Evercoat. But this is basically the same exact thing. Plastik honey ain't nothin but resin anyway. And that stuff is a lot more expensive than gettin a whole gallon of the resin. But the BRUSH??? That is genius! I think this is a better idea than using Feather Fill or some other polyester primer, because you have to wait DAYS on that stuff to shrink up before you can shoot over it. I think doing the "Rondo" application would be better, as far as shrinkage is concerned. I have an old 1980 El Camino project car coming in, and I think it would be a whole lot easier to cover the car using Rondo and a brush, rather than spraying 3 or 4 coats of primer filler to get enough material on the surface to block it off. This will probably save me a TON of time. Your video vault is a gold mine of ideas! SPRAYWAY IS THE KING OF THE GAME!

That mix is really a time saver, putting filler only takes a lot of time. My question is, how do this hold up in the sun? Will it shrink with time?
