Perixx 835 Mechanical Keyboard with Bluetooth

Just got mine today (brown switches) and it's absolutely perfect for me. I'd never found anything that feels even remotely like my ancient (late 1980s - 1990s) Datadesk Smartboard - which I no longer have but considered my all time favorite in feel and speed. The Perixx beats anything I've tried in the past 25+ years!

Hearing that it has those Kaihl switches like the G915, it makes me wonder if this keyboard also has the double-click issue. How is the keyboard doing after 9 months?

This perixx keyboard or a Logitech MX mechanical ? Im between these keybords but i can not decide.

I just recently found out about this keyboard and instantly got the weird compact version (wireless currently not available with German layout). I use ergonomical keyboards almost 30 years now and most of the products in this area are really cheap-made plastic trash. But this one! Man, I waited SOO long for a good mechanical ergnomic keyboard with a REGULAR editing and cursor block and German layout. This is like a unicorn for me. Now I eagerly wait for the wirless version to be available again with a German layout.

Does the keyboard have lights to indicate when Num lock and Caps lock keys are turned on? Thank you, great video!

HI Thomas, I downloaded your picture styles and followed your instructions on how to extract them with The Unarchiver and when i click your files - The Unarchiver cannot extract them. Can you recommend other apps? I would really want to use your pictures styles on my canon. Thank you. I am hoping to get a reply from you.

Was wondering if you were going to review the 835 board as I watched your PERIBOARD-535 video to help make my decision. It ticks all the checkboxes for me and I'm actually typing on it as I am commenting and no complaints here. 😀

I WFH and dual purpose my desk for my gaming PC setup as well so I wanted something that I didn't have to swap out at the end of each day. Although I have other mechanical keyboards the 835 just feels very comfortable to type on. I've been doing typing test on MonkeyType in the spare time this afternoon to see if I needed to do any adjustments and I've only had to flip up the 4° reverse feet as my standing desk will only go so low for a seated position. I paired this with a ProtoArc EM01 trackball mouse as I've used a Logitech MX Ergo in the past and wanted something to compliment the setup. I saw Perixx had a trackball mouse as well but would have preferred if they had a tilting plate like the EM01/Ergo.

Have you looked into the Alice/ Ortholinear type of keyboards? I'm interested to see if my typing experience would be any different. I do like the low profile switches and the somewhat symmetrical layout the 835 has compared to those type of keyboards I've seen like the Keychron Q8/10 and Feker Alice 75/80.
