I hope the Criterion Collection picks this up one of these days. It’s a beautifully crafted film, and the fact it was all done in one take…needs more attention!

After 5 minutes I got dizzy and stopped watching....

I came across the movie by accident early one morning on tv. I was fortunate to catch it from the beginning. After watching for about five minutes I had become completely mesmerized. At the very end of the film during the exit I stood up in my den, by myself, and applauded. ‘Russian Ark’ is one of the most impressive films I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

it is a masterpiece but deserves a much better image quality. No Full HD or 4K resolution out yet? I thought modern upscalers could do this?
