80th Anniversary of D-Day

Very few of those brave young Canadians who stormed the beaches of Normandy 80 years ago today are still around to tell the tale. On this, the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we remember the Canadian men and women who played a major role in the greatest seaborne invasion of all time, the Allied assault on Normandy on June 6, 1944, known as Operation Overlord.
