What a cool channel you have. I grew up riding because I worked at an eventing stable to pay for lessons and board. And eventually grew away from the sport because of the financial aspect, it seemed like how good I wanted to be clashed w the type of money that I made !!! This is a huge topic that’s not talked about enough, so I hope you will be able to explore it in depth. Not enough people are talking about this at all, it’s just like an unspoken agreement that the sport is for wealthy people. It is still a huge passion of mine but one that feels like something I won’t ever be able to achieve in this lifetime unfortunately. The sport should absolutely become more accessible for everyone!!! So excited for this channel and for you and your findings! Thanks for your work ❤
ОтветитьWow this is so cool and inspiring!! Ive been looking for a channel that documents their journey towards a big goal not just the same old stable vlogs! Im so exited to see this series and follow your journey!! Btw ur so pretty! 💗
Ответитьso excited to watch!! i’m an 11 year old equestrian and i have been riding for a year. i have really big dreams to compete for my country in big competitions like the Olympics, Longines etc. Sometimes i doubt myself, trying to convince myself to just find a another more ‘realistic’ horse related job but my heart always goes back to imagine, walking into the famous arena with my equine partner, the crowd cheering my name and clapping for me as i fly over fences. i really can’t imagine my future any other way and i will work and work until it’s true. Love your channel, by the way! you are so talented and inspiring for me 🥹🫶💕💕
ОтветитьSjukt intressant koncept!!
Ответитьgreat video!! I love seeing someone actually attempting their goals rather than doing nothing to change their situation and complaining that its "impossible"! you are such an inspiring person, I aspire to become a top rider just like you. I still have my first horse, but I'm at a bit of a Crossrail at the moment, because of his breeding, he is gaited and not able to move like a normal horse, meaning he wouldn't be able to get to the level I want to be at and he may not be able to even jump at all. the thing is that I love him as again he is my first horse and I'd be completely devastated selling him, but I don't know that if I want to improve as a rider and jump if that may be the only option I have. I feel as if it would be abandoning him and giving up on him if I put my riding first, even though I really want to progress and have fun with the sport. Also we don't have much money to blow an a perfect schoolmaster, (I wish all horses were free!) Do you have any advice, it'd be very appreciated as I know you mentioned you have recently sold your teenage hood horse. Thank you, best of luck with your journey, I'll certainly be cheering you on! 🩷💕💞
ОтветитьDo you need some sort of degree to work in the horse industry? Like to ride horses for other people / train horses? I would really appreciate your response ❤
ОтветитьI love this and your editing is so good!! Look forward to watching your growth and success!!
ОтветитьThis is such an inspiring video!! I hope I can chase my dreams like you someday ❤
ОтветитьThank you so much for making a video like this! I'm not rich like most people in the horse riding industry seem to be, and it makes me worried that I'll never be able to achieve my goals since everything is so expensive and I'm not able to afford the same things as other people at my barn. Many people I know and watch are lucky enough to not worry about money, and I can't relate to them. I can't wait to see your journey, and I really hope to learn something from it :)
ОтветитьThis. Is. Amazing! God damn Clara i'm greatful you ended up on my recommended! This is such an inspireing video, leaving me too stunned to speak. ОтветитьThis is such an amazing video Clara!! The video and editing everything about it so lovely to watch! I am almost 16 now and so far I have mainly been a working student for 2 lovely barns they aren't any top riders but they have helped me alot in my riding and gave me other experiences that I am super grateful. Now the only question is how do I progress further to actually level up in the sport.. I am so excited for these other upcoming videos with your journey to the top!
ОтветитьWhat's the coincidence?? At the beginning of this year I made the "exact" same goals! Doing all the research, starting to fill my bank account, doing my drivers license and riding as much as my time and money allow. As well as getting all my mental motivation from Tony Robbins (same principles). And by the way, also live in Sweden 😂
ОтветитьGood luck!! This is a question I've definitely wondered myself... Cant wait to see what you conclude 😘
ОтветитьYou need more subscribers !!!
ОтветитьThis is a great video, really informative!
ОтветитьGood luck! Do you plan to sell your horse on or stand him at stud?
ОтветитьNew here, love the style of your videos!! Keep going, im rooting for you ❤
ОтветитьThis is so awesome to watch! I can’t wait to follow along😄
ОтветитьBest of luck with your new purchase would love to follow your progress, I’ve also got a Cornet Obolensky offspring!
Ответитьthis is making me so much less alone in this world. i have the exact same goals and I feel like I’m seeing myself in 6 years lol. Ive dreamed of moving to the Netherlands to work with horses. I’m rooting for you as much as I’m rooting for myself🩷🩷
Ответитьcan you pleaseeee link the ted talk? I’m trying to find it but cant😞
ОтветитьWow i'm 16 yo and you just inspired me, i have issues with school and want to be working with horses, i have a 3yo mare and a so good instructor. We are gonna start competing this year and i am not sure if i have the skills that needed at pro lvl. And i'm french so the top riders in France are so much skilled. Hope you be a pro in no time, i'm gonna follow you ❤
ОтветитьVery interesting!! I keep my fingers crossed for you! Just for more info what is your background as in have you competed before with your previous horses(did you compete in Netherlands)? How long have you ride? No judgement just curious ☺️
ОтветитьHi sorry for the weird question but in the beginning what was the grey horses name you where riding? He seems a lot like my horse right now! Just curious lol
ОтветитьI love your video! i know it may be it bit personal but can you tell me the horse auction you bought the stallion of off? I only know esha horse auction from the Netherlands (i am from Germany)
ОтветитьLOL, 'how do you become a millionaire?" start with a billion and own horses!!! of course horses are cheap - it's the after purchase that becomes expensive. Blessings always & keep riding!
ОтветитьLove the concept of this video! Thank you for sharing it :)
Ответитьas someone in the same position you are brilliant. I have felt so lost on how ill ever get the kick start towards my dreams of going pro, its really reassuring seeing your journey and keep following it being in somewhat the same position and long term goals. keep going girly, youre gonna get those goals!!!
sending love from australia xx
This was an amazing video
ОтветитьOmg ❤ I instantly recognized the riding hall you were in, in the start of the video .We totally need some more hope in the sport in the småland / Jönköping area
ОтветитьThis video came at just the right moment, thank you so much Clara! So excited to follow your journey!
ОтветитьTo be fair i think you are still extremely wealthy. In my life, there was no " i save half of a horses price" . There was simply no own horse because there was no money to afford a stable for a month and also no space in my flat to keep a horse. I could barely work enough to afford lessons twice a week and i was never able to have enough training to compete, let alone the money to take a lesson horse to a competition. It wasnt until well inti adulthood that i could afford a horse and becoming good while in advanced age is basically impossible.
ОтветитьImpossible, if the riders themselves are not paying large amounts then their family is or some rich friend is paying for their sport.
ОтветитьIt's not about being rich it's about being skilled and mentally strong. Sorry honey but 90% of pros are men. Even though this sport is practiced by 99% of women. There isn't a single women in the top 15. That's why the organizers must create a separate category. Like in all sports, then women would have more chance to become pros. As you said the first reason is women being less mentally though than men, women are too emotional it's scientifically proven - and of course weaker less physically. Hence the ridiculously low amount of women among CSI 1.50 and above. You are stressed out about having a stallion and try to reassure yourself "he seems calm, he's small...". Men don't overthink like women. You should try dressage instead of show jumping.
ОтветитьWhat age did you start riding❤❤
Ответитьi have to say i love these types of videos and im definitely gonna follow your journey its also very inspiring to build your own story and i love that your gonna be documenting this, fingers crossed it all works out for you 🩷
ОтветитьI'm in the same boat! I don't come from a horseback riding family, but I have always loved it. I'm very grateful that my parents were able to buy my first horse for $700 and my first trailer for $500. Then I had to sell it a couple years ago because I couldn't afford to keep horses anymore. Fast forward 3 years later and I am back to doing everything on my own and buying my own horses, trailer, and tack all from scratch. And that's from a girl working two jobs to achieve her dreams 💖
ОтветитьI just turned 18, I’m not the most well off. I have been riding since I was very little 5 I believe? I started jumping at 14-15. I’ve been too poor to actually compete but I do have show clothes and a QH to start. I’m actually training my own 2 mustangs on my own with a bit of help from a EMM competitor that I work for. He’s been awesome! I’m just so scared because this is what I want to do I’m just not sure how to go about it especially with newly becoming an adult. These videos are helping build my confidence and I hope I can create something in the future for riders to train and compete without having to spend so much money in the industry. I know I’ll have to make my own living but no one should be like me and have so much get up and go but not enough wealth to do it. I hope I can start something like that. To teach and to build dreams and ambitions. Sorry for the ramble but this makes me excited to see what it might be possible for me.
ОтветитьOff the topic but your literally gorgeous!!! 🤩❤
ОтветитьYour videos are great 🙂 But you have to explain more why you made a particular decision instead of doing something else..
I wonder why you chose the south of the netherlands for a business as a rider? Why not choose other less competitive places in the netherlands so that there is a much higher chance of success?
Unfortunately it’s reality suck it up buttercup because if you have no money you need to find a good horse and they are few and far between then you find one and have to sell it because you need to survive
The sport is on another level now just for the rich sad but true
What would be an advice to make money? You didnt really explain. Do you inveat in buying the horse but how does that make you money?
ОтветитьHello! So basically... I've been subscribed to you for a while, but I only really watched your shorts. I started watching your videos recently but I absolutely agree with you. I'm a teenager, not going to specify my age, and I rode for 2 years before I had an accident. I stopped riding for two years due to a parental scare. My parents became very over-protective. Now it's 2 years later and I have started riding, 3 months ago, I'm so excited but I want more. I want my own horse and to ride internationally but my parents won't agree to buy one because my mother owned horses and she told me "I won't buy something that eats whilst I sleep." It's not that we dont have the money. Now I'm striving to find a way to buy my own <3
