I Decided to get Rockman 8 import because it's way cheaper. And I picked up Japanese model 2 Saturn. I also got Rockman X3 & X4

When I was a kid Mega Man was my favorite series. I remember saving up change for months to be able to get a copy of MM6. MM8 is actually the game I wanted a playstation for. When I got it, I didn't realize you needed memory cards for it, so I'd just play through this game start to finish. I've beaten this game so many times. Only part I remember frustrating me was the Frost Man stage. I thought the mega ball was a nice nod to the terrible Mega Man Soccer game. Never understood the hate this game got later. Or 6 for that matter.

I love this era of super polished 2d games.. The animation, speed, and cd audio is still incredible.

Sorry for being a hater but man I cant stand MM7 and MM8. They're soooo slow and the control is floaty. The sprites are too big. The music is childish and lame. Voice acting is awful. They just suck lol.

Love this game. Always a bit thrown off that Mega Man can't duck. In the original NES versions it makes sense he can't— he's super short. But in this game he's like Luigi height and it always seemed like he should be able to squat down to fire lower or avoid enemies, bullets, etc.

jeez i was watching the earlier levels of this stream and was like 'wow this game looks great' so i downloaded the rom to give it a try and now im at Wiley's castle and that snowboarding section is dreadful im actually shocked they left that in the game. even though im emulating the ps1 version im having the EXACT same issues.. the dude just doesn't jump sometimes so you wind up retrying 100x in a row and 99% of your deaths don't even feel like its your fault. what a way to ruin a game. i mean even if it did feel like it was my fault it would still be a pretty bad section, but when you see that continue screen for the 10th time and EVERY death feels like it's the controls f*cking up it just makes it feel pretty hopeless as you have no idea what you are doing wrong

Just did my first playthtough of a megaman game I unfortunately overlooked as a long time fan. Loved it. The snowboarding was a bit annoying, but its gotta be your controller fucking you up so bad. Loved this game, but wont be revisiting it any time soon. It was tough and frusturating as hell lol.

Good game, just sucks about the lame voice acting. The snowboarding sections was like a right of passage for all Mega Man fans lol

I like how Mike was losing his mind not only during the infamous skate-sequence but also during the whole credits (for no reason).
I'm glad he liked MM8 though; I believe it's very underrated and it looks gorgeous.

Why did Capcom make this game so annoying? It was solid without the cutesy talk, the clown thing robot guy was stupid and actually good but his music, and the god awful over the top cuteness was absolutely annoying. I would've muted that level after the first continue. I feel that there's a group of employees at Capcom that hate their job and knew that the QC department was complacent. What sabotaged great game. How did this happen? So many mixed feelings right now lol

Clown Man has some very weird music for a Mega Man game;
it is a nice track, I guess, but it sounds like it should have been used for a shop in a Pokémon game or something instead.

When You said live in a background I always had super strong feelings for some games. I always wanted to live and hang out in the background of Sonic The Hedgehog, Green Hill Zone. I was akid and a lack of games to compare 1 for 1.

I love this game so much, I'd sit with my bro on carpet on our small box tv while he played it, and I'd be on my stomach next to him, drawing fanart for it. We used to pretend to have mega busters and make the sound effects while our mouths while running around with our friends after school. This was around when all the people I knew in the neighborhood carried game cartridges and memory cards in our pockets and would swap them around. Or we'd sit together on the stairway and play our handhelds together. So good.
