Bude 2024 Summary

Bude Jazz Festival 2024 A 60 minute summary with some of the best bands at the festival this year.
There were also many other notable bands bands appearing in 2024 and it can be said that the Bude festival is now much more like it was in the days of founder John Minnion, but somewhat smaller.
The current organisers of the Bude Jazz Festival are doing a great job in reviving this great festival which originally ranked alongside the Keswick and Upton upon Severn jazz festivals. Sadly the Keswick festival folded, but the Upton festival is still thriving. The other festivals which now rank highly alongside Bude and Upton (in May) are the Mike Durham Whitley Bay festival (in October/November) and the Peshore festival in mid August.
