Zenbook Pro 14 OLED (UX6404) REVIEW: The Best Laptop Yet?

Which is better "Asus zenbook pro 14 (UX6404)" OR "Lenovo yoga pro 9i"? SAME CONFIGURATION

The anti glare coating looks like it has a yellow tint to it in the video review similar to the coating on the alienware 34 inch qd oled monitor. Is it as bad or prominent in real life?

Better specs than Pro 9i and cheaper.

Technical question (I have a TB4 dock at home), do we have DisplayPort passthrough on the TB4 port and is that possible to use the RTX GPU when plugging a screen to the TB4 port?

I've never really cared about a pc being a fingerprint magnet.....until this one. Wow, someone went out of their way to engineer a surface that picks up smudges and fingerprints better than any surface I've ever touched.

I like this thing but I really goddamned hate that so many companies are hard-soldering at least half the RAM to the goddamned motherboard. Also, ASUS is lying if they claim 16+32 is still going to give you dual-channel performance.

How did you get 7+ hrs battery life? Got mine yesterday and mine only last a little over 2 hours at 96% charge and with power settings set low.

does the touchbar have a numeric keypad ?

Are the fans noisy during normal use?

how is it compared to lenovo legion with the same specs? will it perform about the same?

Can I add 96 gigs of ram and an 8tb nvme?

DON'T BUY IT
Here is why. My experience: Purchased new. My unit had two defects: (i) buzzing speakers, and (ii) high-pitch whine/noise on battery power. Sent for repair. Received the unit back with the original issues + physical damage to the laptop chassis. Sent it for repair again. Received the unit back absolutely ruined, completely bent, with huge dents and screen shattered.
I just can't speak to an Asus agent about my specific claim. It continues falling back to a default RMA proccess that involves shipping in the damaged unit and then receiving it back in a couple weeks time even more damaged. I am not interested in fixing this absolutely broken piece of e-waste. I want money back, or at very least a new unit.

The camera has good quality. It is quite clear. It is missing the shaving option, though.

What a stupid design at this version with just ONE sustainable USB (A) port, the other ONE USB-C lives not long enough because of the desolate construction...

🙄And the keyboard keys are breaking at too much consumers while a normal, non agressive usage. And RMA companies want 300€ for the complete keyboard with guilt shifting to the consumer. What a fraud... like with the Intel 13, 14th gen.

Hello! Asus doesnt provide all configurations in all countries for the Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED. So I have to pick one option.

What is the best option for the : i7-13700H + RTX 4070 or i9-13900H + RTX 4060 ? My main usage will be for creative work. Thanks for your help everyone and have a nice day!

BE CAREFUL IF YOU'RE ORDERING IN EUROPE! I have one of these, and it doesn't explicitly say on the purchase page, but if there is no option for touchscreen, you won't get a glass screen either. Instead you will get a screen that looks like a vivobook, so plastic bezel and screen. Still OLED, still pretty, but no glass protection, which is annoying as f*** because I bought it hoping I would get a durable screen. Also I had to RMA it because the tab key was not springing back. I've just received it back today and now the keyboard is mostly fine except for the backspace, which is sometimes a bit rattely. Not very pleased with ASUS. Apparently they do this more often, where they advertise a certain spec list, even on the european advertisement page, but then send you another one with things like a different screen. Luckily I could get it for quite cheap.
