Crushing the veggie crackers in their package, and then pouring it into the Mexican Chicken soup...and adding the red pepper flakes, first...will make it into a heartier "stew".
If you take out some sour cream in a squeeze tube, that will also change it up a bit....or just use the mre cheese (the jalapeño one is always good, but you could add the hot sauce, if they still put in those little bottles).

It brought back some great memories from being in the service, and eating the dark brown bagged mre's from the 80's (that may have had metal shavings, due to bad quality control back then), through to the ones like you guys were using.

I never get the cheese, always the jam lol, I guess you can't be lucky all the time. That cappuccino is good, the mocha dessert bar thing is really good too. I've had that Southwest Style Beef and Black Beans and yeah I really enjoyed it, I also had the Chicken and Vegetables in an Asian Style Sauce and it was also really good, at first I didn't like it, but the more I ate, the better it tasted lol. Really digging the new Aqua Quest tarp, is it a Safari series?

Loved it guys! I’m with you on what cold is. Here in coastal Alabama 27 is cold as well. I love to get out on the cold dreary days to hike, build a fire and enjoy MRE’s. Yes, I do love MRE’s! I love my happy suit, (wish I got it when I was in Korea), but wore it in the stan, and back home in the north east during the winter months. Havent worn it in a few years do to living in the westcoast now.
