Great tips. I create diff categories in my Ableton collection for fave synths, effects, drum loops, MIDI effects, etc. Speeds up my work flow. I also use multiple sends/returns for effects. I use at least 4 reverbs and 1 delay to create spaces for drums, percussion, synths, samples, vocals. This is the method Chris Lord-Age uses for mixing. Check out some of his videos.

Yes you are able to group in FL, but you have to have it sent to the individual mixer tracks before you group...(but order you do this doesn't matter to be honest, it's just for sanity)
