I get the same with Jim and James. Which is insane because I remember a cartoon called Jimmy Neutron where the character's friends would call him Jimmy and his parents would call him James. literally, my 5 or 6 year old sister got denied travel bc her name had a mising or backwards letter, and we had already travelled to our transfer airport with that sme ticet. their solution, leave her there and let the other 5 young kids (max age 12 or 13) travel alone to the final destination or all 6 kids plus mother who is stillnot comfortable travelling alone due to english language barrier in a country where english isnt even their first language.

Don’t know how it went in your case, but they will take that seriously I had a flight that was set up by my company and they auto filled date of birth with the person setting up the ticket Everything else my name and all the other info was right but my date of birth was wrong on the ticket so I had to go back to the luggage entrance and get them to edit and reprint my ticket.
