Roman emperor Caligula built two floating palaces on volcanic Lake Nemi near Rome. They were sunk and lost until Mussolini drained the lake to recover them and exhibit them in a museum to show the glory of ancient Rome and fascist Italy. But they were destroyed by the Nazis near the end of the Second World War. Find out what you can still see today.
