Small note, the bag in Firered/Leafgreen actually wasn't infinite. It could hold up to like 70 different items in the Items slot, and only up to 999 of each item. So, while there was a limit, it was virtually infinite
ОтветитьIt's the "Trainer Tower", not "Battle Tower".
ОтветитьThese actually were my introductions to a lot of kanto, I played silver when I was little and red and blue were just rumors I’d heard at school
Ответитьmy favorite pokemon game till let's go came.
❤
people that shit on red/blue gold/silver graphics likely weren't around to play those games when they launched. they were revolutionary and every Pokémon game since ours their entire existence to them. I still enjoy playing the og games
Ответитьi absolutely hate people that say "poke-uh-mon"
ОтветитьI remember being so frustrated on my second playthrough of this as a kid. I didnt know you had to have 60 pokemon caught to unlock the other islands. I had done it the first time, I remember talking to every npc trying to figure out what to do
ОтветитьGreat video
Leaf Green was first Pokémon game I owned along with Crystal so lots of nostalgia for it
hi can you do a review POKEMON YELLOW RECHARGED
ОтветитьYeah if i ever end up playing this im adding a physical/special split patch as well as access to the natural dex pre-champion battle i know some people would call that Heresy but im a giratina worshiper so deal with it 😎
Ответить20 years? No... it cant be
Ответить9 minutes of complete RUBBISH
keep Kanto pure
Bro stood in line at gamestop in 2004 for pokemon and chose LeafGreen 🤦♂️ jk bro I got FireRed for christmas 2004 along with a cobalt Gameboy Advance SP. My favorite gen to play through.
ОтветитьI love you pops
ОтветитьI still play my fire red to this day
ОтветитьBig pro was navel rock and birth island too but you need to have attended the events to enable it
ОтветитьI like listening to people yap about Pokemon.
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥ARIES PUT ALL GEN 3 POKEMON GBA GAMES ON THE SWITCH SHOP & MY LIFE IS YOURS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьYou forgot the game prevents you from trading non gen 1 pokemon into Firered or leafgreen unless you have the national dex in that game. Even if you have it in firered for example, of you try to trade a non gen 1 pokemon into your leafgreen that doesn't have the national dex, the game will tell you you can't. Not even XD or Coliseum work as a workaround. It's ridiculous and frustrating.
Ответитьthey actually did that for glaceon and leafeon. heartgold and soulsilver dont have the icy stone or the mossy stone in their overworld. in order to get a leafeon or glaceon, you actually need to trade eevee back to a sinnoh game to evolve it using the special environments. same with anything that needs to be in mount coronet to evolve like probopass and magnezone
ОтветитьI started a new playthrough like 2 weeks ago and im having a blast. The only thing that holds this gen back from being the GOAT is the not yet existing phy/spe split which was introduced in gen 4. I probably dumbed like 5k hours into FRLG and those are some of my best childhood memories. It's really nice to see how much love people are still having for those games :D
ОтветитьWere you nicknaming your pokemon like red in pokemon adventures?
ОтветитьGen 5 most likely will be remade in gen 10
Gen 1 remade in gen 3 was an outlier
Gen 2 was remade in gen 4
Gen 3 in gen 6
Gen 4 in gen 8
Fun video, but could not disagree more about the gen 2 pokemon being in this game. I'm a 151 kind of guy and it would have been miserable having just red and blue to go back to after all this time.
Ответитьlol i never knew fire red and leaf green released on my birthday (in the U.S,) oddly its also the first pokemon game i ever played and one of my favorites
ОтветитьIdk if this helps, but this kind of content is called a video essay
ОтветитьYou didn’t mention how every trainer battle is just your Pokémon getting confused, poisoned, and paralyzed. I’ve never been affected by so many status conditions in any other game.
ОтветитьThank you for taking me back to my childhood!
ОтветитьSo grateful for the remasters, Gen 1 graphics just makes it feel too old even though thats what I played back then.
But appreciate all the improvements and I can say I play gen 3 all the time
Lord, Dad, God Almighty, in Your Absolutely Perfect Name, may The Day of The Lord come really soon, so that You may wipe away every tear from our eyes! 😁🩶🙏😇🥲
ОтветитьMy hubby and I also waited in line for midnight release for Fire Red and Leaf Green...still have them today.
ОтветитьThis is good yap-content. Can't wait for the Alpha and Omega video.
I love ORAS so much that I bought OM right before the e-store closed even though I already had AS. Great decision though because Pokemon Bank still rules today for transferring stuff between the gen 6 and 7 games.
Currently trying to unlock Wally's rematch fight. Probably get it or quit by the time your ORAS yap vid comes out.
Why can't we play in on switch.
ОтветитьI'm glad they didn't fill them up with new stuff from the later games. I'm a 151 purist.
ОтветитьThe minimize muk wasn't as bad as the level 40 something Chancey that that broad has on victory road that endlessly heals itself and puts you to sleep.
I'm sure there's a right way of dealing with it, but the only way i got though was just an attrition battle with leech seed until it ran out of pp for soft boiled
I remember getting both games and reliving the memories having them be remastered and I absolutely loved everything they added with the islands. I love how it was connected to Ruby and sapphire which I didn’t know wouldn’t have a expanded Pokédex. I love how it was connected to Coliseum and the only way starters is to breed from that game.
This game really brought generation 3 together since you couldn’t trade with previous generations. I still have the guide books that I read religiously.
man its crazy only getting pokemon a year ago, the party over, everyone's already has there memories and I'm experiencing mine for the first time
ОтветитьFor some reason I could never vibe with this.
Grew up with gen 1, had a million hoursin gen 3, but this remake aways felt soulless to me
Jokes on gamefreak I had a blind cousin that helped me with the brail parts
Ответить"regular north american copy" why do americans act like they are the standard and anything else is a spin off of something american. Its especially strange when pokemon is a japanese IP and the fact that europe got most of these games before the US did.
ОтветитьThe mass adoption of Levitate gave a bump to Psychic since Dig wasn't the goto for beating Poison (most common gen 1 typing) no more Dugtrio vs Agatha
ОтветитьI can’t wait to play this game again. My cousin and I used to share this game a lot when we were kids until he lost it. I found leaf green, but for $124.00. So I’m gonna save up for it to add it to my collection.
I spent 2 years collecting all of the DS and 3DS pokemon games. Worth it
The games that gave us "hammer away"! The games that introduced me to Pokemon! The games that were released the same year I was born! The games that... frankly could've been way better. 😅 Seriously, we've had TWO sets of Kanto remakes and neither of them let us use the later gen evolutions nor the Kanto-native Gen 2 Pokemon.
ОтветитьNgl, fire red is honestly kinda boring to me. Im still playing through it cause I want to play a game from every region but yk im really not feeling Kanto.
Ответить1.Leaf green
2. Crystal
3. Blue
Runner up pearl.
"but Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire also have their tenth anniversary this year."
Ufff! Aaargh! Ooouch... i...i.. can't... Just let me die here already 😂
I remember Ruby coming out like... I dunno.. feels like maximum 7 years ago? And you doing us here like that 😂
Oh and edit:... Greetings from Germany - i want my Game Corner back 😢😂
I didn’t know there’s braille in the post-game, as I’m still playing through FireRed, but I actually know how to read braille because I’m legally blind (enough vision to play video games luckily)
ima ace the postgame puzzles when i get to them lol
edit: wait hold on why would they make kids who aren’t blind read braille…?
