Grace really needs a chance, she gets buckets and plays way better defense than Mitchell, her and CC can run that backcourt together but I'd still draft Sonia Citron and bring Kelsey Plum or Kate Martin in.

Fire Christi Sides today!!! Grace Berger and Celeste Taylor are both fabulous basketball players. It is so frustrating to have a second rate head coach. The Fever has 2 #1 draft choices. It is time to get a first rate head coach. Grace Berger has ALWAYS been a beast of a player and so was Taylor. Only a second rate coach would have Berger on the bench and only a second rate coach would have gotten ride of Taylor.

How can a Turkish team playing to a High School-sized crowd afford to pay an American pro enough to make it worth the effort to move there for the offseason?

Sides is not coaching well, she has a deep bench so the best thing to do is substitue and gives others more experience in real game. Grace looks good.

The Fever could have picked Kate Martin but chose Celeste Taylor, can't complain, good pick, but why cut Taylor and get nothing in return, and cut without any playing time...Somehow the Fever organization will screw up any team building. Even with the talent, nothing but a 500 team and early bounce from the playoffs

Sides needs to go but not because of this. Erica Wheeler looks like a superstar overseas. It is why she was the seventh highest paid player in the WNBA last year. But she should have never seen the floor in the WNBA. Anytime she was put in the Fever lost a lead or the opposition extended their lead. There is a reason that a geriatric Team USA won a gold metal even though they were far from the best players in the league. Taurasi got benched for the gold medal game and should not have been there as proven by the WNBA all stars beating them with no problem.

Grace Berger looks good playing in Turkey. (In high school gyms? sparse crowd? yet better money than the W!) As for her lack of playing time on the Fever, why is that a Christie Sides issue? Berger is a point guard. But the Fever already has the best point guard in the league in Caitlin Clark, and Caitlin towards the end of the season plays almost the entire game. As for the other guard position, the shooting guard, Kelsey Mitchell is an established veteran star in that position when the season started, and by the end of the season Kelsey was arguably the best shooting guard in the W. The problem for Berger is that she is a guard in the team with the best 1-2 guard players in the league. The Fever has major weaknesses, but not at the guard positions.

Yes, Grace appears to be a nice player but who is she going to take playing time from? Hopefully, the Fever can keep Grace who obviously benefited from the practices where she played both with and against Caitlin Clark. One of the greatest benefits is that she was with CC the entire season. That’s a tremendous learning experience in itself. Sometimes talented young players have to sit because there are more experienced players ahead of them. This again isn’t Sides fault. If the young player has the right attitude, she will work hard to get her chance and then she has to make the most of that opportunity. That’s just the way it is in team sports when you have a deep roster like all of the WNBA teams have. Do you ever notice all of the dnp descriptions with coach’s decision attached to it? So with the rationale that Sides must be replaced then I guess every team’s head coach should be replaced when a talented player on the bench doesn’t get playing time. Makes a lot of sense to me! Duh…

Sides was exposed so many times it's hard to keep count but not playing Berger or Saxton was a big mistake.

Sides is afraid to offend her veteran players, will keep playing them even though there are better players sitting on the bench.

I think Grace is okay, there is still this herky jerky movement and hesitation in her game I don’t like. Clark and Mitchell are more fluid in their motions even when cutting and stopping. If Grace does stay with the Fever all she’ll ever be is Clark’s backup and Clark is going to be someone who always plays 35+ minutes a game. Does Grace want that little play time?

It’s a shame she wasn’t given a chance this year.

I want to really thank you for posting this video about Grace. When I became aware of her a couple of months ago or so I did a deep dive on her player bio and was absolutely stunned and astounded by what I found. I have been sounding the alarm about her ever since. After that I tell you, whenever I'd see her on the bench not getting any playing time my heart would absolutely break for her. So forgive me for this long comment but what they've done to this young lady really angers me. Also no. There's no shame on you for getting her name wrong but instead shame on The Fever for not playing her. You may have mispronounced Berger but the Fever misused her, purposely for an entire season.

Here's is a player who in even her younger playing days had a Caitlin like effect on people. Fans were filling up venues to see her play. Gets to IU and becomes the winningest player in their history. Had a number of triple doubles. Once dropped 26 on Caitlin and Iowa and a 29 pt career high against Michigan State. She's drafted into the WNBA and as a rookie averaged 47.1% from 3 and was on the All Rookie team. Yet this past season the only instances she seemed to see the floor was garbage time, If that. Like Caitlin she's 6 ft tall and she is the obvious sub for, if not Clark, Kelsey. I think it's a no-brainer that she should be the First guard Off the Bench for either of them.

I even once heard someone call Grace Caitlin Clark without the Logo 3! What! With game like that and she can't play at least 9 or 10 minutes?! Terrible. My belief is that The W is engaged in some "politikin' and just can't have, 2 "Caitlin Clarks", figuratively speaking of course cuz ain't no 'nother CC out there anywhere, of the same "persuasion" if you know what I mean, as the face(s) of the league especially with both being on the same team. If Grace gets chosen in the expansion draft I truly hope she gets some significant and meaningful playing time because she deserves it.

Grace Berger, Nika Muhl and Lou Lopez Senechal are some of the players ain't really given decent minutes in their teams. I hope the new team in Golden state will find a way to get them.

Given how Christie Sides pretty much mismanaged Lexi Hull for a season and a half, and Celeste Taylor for the little time we had her, it wouldn't surprise me if GB is a hidden gem. I would love to see what Grace Berger could do with a better coach.

Grace has to play and play ! She needs that next level confidence! After 2 years of being on the bench, she has not mentally advanced. I played high basketball in NJ. And i was good, but didn't see the court that much. It wears you down when you don't play.

Does this shock anyone? Grace and Christy Walllace, both pretty good players, lost almost an entire season in their careers due to Side's utter mismanagement of her bench. She was so heavenly reliant on Clark and Mitchell that, except for veteran Erica Wheeler, nobody else got to spell them.

Nothing against Grace, but is this really a fair evaluation while playing in Turkey? It doesn't look like the level of competition in these clips is anywhere near as fast and physical as the WNBA. Looks more like a developmental league.

My money is on Berger. She is great.
