I had a roommate with schizophrenia. He held me hostage for 3 days. I finally tricked him into taking me to the ER saying I needed help. I slipped a note to the woman at the front desk. He's lucky I didn't call the cops. As an aside, they kept him for a year: 6 months on the ward and 6 months in a halfway house. He hates me for getting him help. That's fine, being held hostage for 3 days was harrowing to say the least. I couldn't shower or go to the bathroom alone. I lost my job as a no call, no show. What a mess.

Scammers use private courier services rather than USPS. Using USPS adds a federal charge for fraud.

If you’re getting 60 thousand bucks in 1-2 years from a 22k investment… you’re involved in fraud. Like even if we believed all her BS it’s inherently suspicious; no legal investment has that high of a payout.
