Candlewood Knolls Lake Community

Welcome to Candlewood Knolls, a private lake community since 1929 located on the western shore of Candlewood Lake near the town of New Fairfield, CT just 90 minutes north of Manhattan.

With 250 homes, 30 being waterfront, this community is a tax district and offers tons of amenities including a ball field with a lighted bocce court and horseshoe pit, basketball court, tennis court, three beaches, a children’s playground, boat slips, and a clubhouse which is considered the centerpiece of the community. But what is different is the number of events this community offers including The Candlewood Knolls Children’s Program and summer camp, annual parades and holiday celebrations, country hoedowns, and organized ski trips to Mohawk Mountain.

Candlewood Knolls is just 24 minutes from the 684/84 exchange near Southeast, NY, 6 minutes from the closest local grocery store (New Fairfield Food Center), 4 minutes from the closest restaurant (Icons Sports Bar & Grill, or The Candlewood Creamery for delicious homemade ice cream), and 6 minutes to the closest gas station (EXXON).
