10 Helpful Tips I Wish I Knew as a Beginner in Black Desert - 2024 Edition

As a new player i have a question, when it comes to switching mains do i have to completely start over gear wise ect? Or? Cause iv seen some peoples main classes be nerfed into the ground...so im sure they had to switch mains n im sure i will have to at some point too

my tip for all:
open the map, create a 'snapshot' for every major town (with Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3...) this will help you instantly focus your map on each of these towns with just one key (1, 2, 3...)

Jhon is it worthit buying both invi potion with all my lifesaving silver?, but i don't play this game often.. maybe once every 2 weeks

What is that idle animation with the black aura of your dk. Is it from a cosmetic? Mine never did that

Can I weapon exchange the new pen black star if i decide to main a different character? I main suc miss rn but might be interested on the new character coming up

I played black desert mobile for years but did not bother to replace my stolen gaming laptop untill recently (amazing what you can do with only cell phones and tablets). Anyway, I was testing out games on steam (throne and liberty beta) and decided to check out the BDO page. $0.99 sale! Been playing two days so far and starting to warm up on the controls (tons diffrent than any other pc game i have played) so I will likely be sticking around.

so if you can just buy your gear, is there any reason to do enhancements? just grind silver until you can afford them?

Some other great tips for beginners :
- When grinding put your tokens on your horse, keep grinding when you full, take back the token on your horse and re-put all your token back again on your horse.
- You can shortcut a lot of thing in alt+1, alt+2 etc... in shortcut settings e.g i have alt-1 = minimize the game, alt-2 = central market, alt-3 maids ....
- CTRL + F = find items, very helpfull, i'm always using it
-When grinding have some buff the strict minimum are ; a Simple Cron Meal and a Draught (frenzy or giant). And if you want to go further take a vila buff and Church Buff

i have question about elvia, is that 1hour elvia only avaliable for 1 id or 1 char? for example my main archer has been done 1 hour elvia if i play my other char for exmple witch, is that CD from evlia is shareable or its eperate?
