It literally does not hurt, it tickled and just look straight up at a light so they can go straight down

This is to everybody who has yet to have one of these test and came to the comments section to see how bad it is. It really is NOT that bad.. pain level maybe 1/10. Your eyes will water up but it doesn't hurt, it's just a weird feeling like temporarily getting water up your nose, or that feeling you get before you sneeze, or drink a very carbonated beverage. Trust me it really isn't that bad, and the countdown helps your mind stay busy. Just do it, get a drink afterwards and celebrate.

I feel like I’m a way more recent comment. I’m 15 and I had to have this a couple days ago. If you are worried about it, don’t be. It doesn’t hurt all too bad if anything it just sorta burns and is uncomfortable. Pain honestly doesn’t last too long and it’s a quick process

I had my nose swab 3 hours ago, it was my third nose swab and it was way more painful than the first two nose swabs. It is still painful. And 10 seconds after the nose swab my nose started bleeding. I am worried my nose glands are damaged...

I see red spot at the end of the swab, is the rotation cause bleeding ?

yeah this was never a thing. I got a few corona tests by professionals at healthcare facilities- and this was never necessary. nice scare tactics though. Made a lot of people not want to get tested. Apparently breathing in the same room gives you corona but sticking a swab into the back of your through through your nose was the only way to detect it? you people also are the first to want to go anally too i suppose

Had to have test done for first time today because of my acl surgery tomorrow and it was over in what felt like a second or 2... To anyone currently in the same situation, hang in there!!!

Its really awful and traumatising. I did it 5 days ago, still shaking. Avoid at all costs.
