I eagerly bought this stuff for a gun restoration. Tested it on a piece with only light rust in a couple spots, but to be safe i covered the entire piece, a bolt body. Came back in the morning to great surprise as it was now covered in about ten times as much rust as before. Explanation? I still have another container of the gel but dont know if i have much use for an agent to promote rusting.

Can this be used on a tiny pin dot of rust on my new vehicle safely? The tiny chip was present and already showing rust when we bought it. I would really hate to disturb the rest of my perfect factory paint, which is exactly what will happen at a body shop. This small spot will end up being a foot round sanded area and feathering in. Therefore, could I safely use this to remove the rust and then use a paint pen to protect from further damage?

For those who wanted an easy way to fix echo holes in my video channel

I'm wanting to use this on my side by side frame. In some places, I won't be able to wrap/cover it very well, if at all. Can I just put it on extra thick and get the same result? I know it will use more but I'm more concerned about getting the rust off than using more if it will work.

Where do i buy this rust remover. Didn't see it on Home Depot or Auto zone. And did the label change.

Say I use this, how do I seal the metal to prevent further rust permanently? I have some rust splotches on a sun damaged car and I want to fix them permanently before I have it repainted.
