I just got the mk4s kit as my first 3D printer, and now I’m excited to eventually perform the core one upgrade when that becomes available. And the wait should give my bank account time to heal lol

why is everyone always just copying the one who is leading the market (not Prusa atleast).

I wanted to like the core one.... but that print size was such a bad choice at that price.

Also, it's almost 2025... 300x300x300 should be the standard minimum size for an fdm printer.

Happens to me every…single…time I buy tech. I decided to get into the hobby finally, did a bunch of research, and settled on, and just bought a X1C. And then Prusa puts this out 😂. The bigger build area would have made me wait for it in a few months.

Anycubic releasing the K3 Plus while the K3 have so many issues is not great news...looking at you first layer.
The Prusa One is pretty neat, building it is a plus, you know it's well built and you'll know how to fix everything on it.
BIQU releasing a chamber heater for the P1 and X1 would be a game changer.
Love your channel by the way. Cheers

I've owned many different printers on the market. Too many to mention. So far my Bambu Lab P1S is my go to printer if I want something printed in less time and with great quality and no fuss. I call it my replicator. We'll have to see how well these other printers will compare to it. And I've always wanted a print volume large enough to print things not so much in height but in length and width. I wonder if any printer company would consider that idea. Say 600mm x 600mm x 250mm? Just a thought as that size would cover all of my DIY needs.

I'm looking forward to getting the core one upgrade kit for my MK4S. I love my MK4S (it's my first printer), and I was saving up to get an enclosure for it to print the more engineering grade materials.

But now this new printer is out, I'll wait for the upgrade kit in spring next year.

Don't worry guys, I'm sure SOVOL will remain true to theyre roots and have a defecting automatic bed leveling from the factory that never works, QC problems that cause alignment issues that effect print quality from the ground up. Keep it up SOVOL! Hey at least your open source right?

my experience with Elegoo will never allow me to purchase another one, and has made me box my elegoo resin printer. The 4 pro had great reviews at launch, however I received a broken machine and horrible support, not to mention they shipped them at launch without working firmware and if you didn't have an in depth knowledge of klipper it was a paperweight

Are we ever going to get fdm printers with the same model quality as resin for small stuff? I want to do action figures but I hate dealing with the resin printer is so much pain. Every FDM I have tried makes models where you can feel the print lines on the surface and dont take painting/washes very well.

Bambu Lab is leading the 3d print game big time, everyone else at this point is just playing catch up. The Core One would be a good choice if it was at the price range of the P1S, but at that price, its about double what it should be worth. When Bambu releases its multi head next gen printer in January, its game over for everyone else.

Orca Slicer is Trash at the moment, same with creality Slicer. the both have issues with klipper causing no movement on Z axis intermittently, either dragging your nozzle across the bed and messing it up, or printing on top of the same layer over and over. tested and verified on multiple Klipper 3D printers, including fresh Klipper Configs. after a few 50 dollar bondtech CHT trimetal nozzles were ruined ill never use orca ever again even though it looks promising. Cura is still way more consistent with matching profile settings

The Core One and the XL are such an odd mix. Core One is cheaper with a better enclosure but no MMU support day one, while the XL is an order of magnitude difference in price for multi material with a larger build volume but an optional and subpar enclosure. No idea what they’re thinking.

The Prusa Core won’t compete on price in Australia. It will cost around $200 to post and $400 in duties.

Just printed my first tpu 95 part and that tpu-cf sounds very appealing. Also the PPS-CF, already almost ordered some PETG-CF. Just got my P1S a week ago and need hardened nozzles still, not going to do the diamond nozzle just yet as not really needed. My waterjet uses ruby or diamond orifices, $40 vs $400 respectively, but the ruby may last well up to 8+hrs of cutting. More prone to random premature blowouts/chipping. The diamond last way way longer and have never had a blowout with one, the water stream just stays so much more focused for way longer. Maybe not 10x longer but not swapping them so often or causing an issue with scrapping a job is worth it.
