India had witch doctors until recently, it's hard for it to understand science and medicine. So quackeries like Homeopathy thrive because people are not that much smarter than their parents who believed witch doctors.

Conventional medicine does bad homeopathy. EVery one of their medicines has "side effects" that match the symptoms for which they are indicated. Aspirin, acetominophin and ibuprofen all are used to treat headaches and inflammation. These are also side effects of the same drugs. If they prescribed them homeopathically, i.e. symptoms they cause match all the symptoms of the patient - mental, emotional and physical - then they would be curative. Because they are used to only cover a few symptoms, they just suppress those symptoms and must be taken regularly like a poorly chosen homeopathic remedy.

This was clearly a propaganda speech. and all the studies that have shown homeopathy not working are funded by big pharma and medical mafia. I am a pharmacist and i was too taught things like that by my professors and i was like these people... but when my mother didn't start improving and was taking so many meds and collective side effects (many of these they don't tell you abt otherwise, you won't be able to take it lol, for example, beta blockers will cause asthma type symptoms in the long term, and since its a hypertension medication you have to take it long term) so up and behold we tried homeopathy and she is much better, she could walk now.

What a great video, but it's really difficult for the Indian population to explain something scientifically nowadays. They would continue to believe in alternate medicines for their placebo effects, even though the country where homeopathy started stopped funding it! No wonder health parameters in our country are way worse than developed nations.

Honestly, im not too sure why, the homeopathy practioner that i know, makes me feel like its a religion that cannot be challenge and i thought only a cult would have their believers to ignore scientific proves, logical sense, and just take the book as if it's the bible. But i guess, those who believes in homeopathy will never accept the fact pointed out by the doctor.

When you make a 1C potency, it contains 1 part drug and 99 parts water, here 1C potency doesn’t denote the 1/100th of the whole mixture but the whole mixture including drug and water… the property of 1C potency is different than that of the crude drug substance.
Similarly, 13C potency has different properties than that of crude drug. So you dont need to find that 1 molecule of drug to see its action, rather the whole mixture of 13C potency has its unique properties, which are proved on healthy human beings, and afterwards given to the patients having similar symptoms… its simple logic with hundreds of thousands of results.

I think it is more of money and profit driven that may have prompted Dr Shantanu to embrace allopathy. My personal experience with allopathy was quite bad. Plaqued by a heart condition, digestive disorders, breathing difficulties, a high prostate PSA and dental issues, I owe it to Homeopathy for the new lease of life. It is a gift indeed. Suffering from GERD was a traumatic experience. Despite visiting a number of allopathic doctors and spending a lot of money, nights have been nightmares. The treatment may hold for a week but after that it will be back to square one. After I sought homeopathic treatment I have been fine for the last 9 years. And it was so affordable. I still keep my medical card as I may need for any major surgery and these surgeries cost a bomb. The futile attempt of Dr Shantanu is like blocking the sun with a finger. A good and ethical doctor would certainly not run down others. Instead, he should be focusing on improving the deliverables in allopathy. When the Corona Delta virus was sweeping over the whole world and there was no vaccine yet, I can say unashamedly that it was Homeopathy treatment that saved me and my family. My little brother has systemic juvenile arthritis and he has episodes every few months .My parents refuse to take him to a real doctor because they fear that the medicine has steroids .They only take him to a homeopathic doctor how do I convince them to take him to a real doctor

The big problem with homeopathy is that, by it's very nature, it is very difficult to study it with the regular scientific method. One of the very pillars of homeopathy, "treat the patient, not the disease", makes replicating situations for study very difficult. Only very careful statistical analysis, of patients going to a real hannemanian homeopathic practitioner and following through with treatment, could show real results. Personally, I have used homeopathy for myself and my pets for 25 years with excellent results, even for chronic and serious conditions, such as heart conditions and cancer. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have stomach issues that start with food poisoning. Done all tests possible. Everything came back normal. Finally, the doctors discharged me, saying it could be stress relates. I have stomach pain and extreme food sensitivities. My friend suggested it cured her stomach ulcer and to try homoeopathy, and i can't decide reading all these mixed comments

Dr. Samuel Hahnemann who was the founder of Homoeopathy itself was an MBBS physician of that time.

I think he could not able to get success in Homoeopathy due to lack of knoweledge in it so he is talking this. As a physician, one should not criticise other physician, which is one of the medical ethics. He may not have been learnt that.

Homeopathy should be banned. It damage nerves an creates Impotency as has done in my case when I went to a Homeopathic Doctor Tushar Kanjilal At Kolkata who reduces the pain of my piles but at the same time made me Impotent and damage my nerves severely for which I suffer very much because I don't get much leave for my treatment from my office which was SBI, by a notorious Branch Manager Nandalal Mondal.
