This hood is better than the last hood. Also, I have a new appreciation for how difficult cowl hoods can be.

Hell yeah, bro , i had to make a cowel for my rod to cuz my turbo was too tall to close hood lol ... Definitely need a bit more of an angle on the raised sides of the hood or maybe curved edges. It’s too angular compared to the rest of the car. Adding that feather or curve will make a big difference.

Wow, that hood turned out sweet. You did it a little differently than I would have , and I think it would have been easier, but that's neither here nor there! I think ordering the front bumper was smart, but I think you should keep the stock rear bumper. Maybe build the quarter panels into it and stretch it downwards so it's as low to the ground as the side skirts! You should think about SEMA next year for the CReX after you completely finish the build. After you complete the whole interior cause I know it's not staying, stock as far as the door panels and rear hatch area are concerned! I really think once it's all said and done, it's going to look like it cost a whole lot more than it did to put it together! I still think you should paint it an old 100 dollar bill shiny green and gun metal grey metallic! If the only choices are red or blue since I'm not 20 years old me I say blue. I still love reds, but I'm digging the look of the blue and silver paint in the rendering! I'm not sure that's the exact hue of blue, but I'm definitely interested in seeing it blue and silver. Plus, red is to eye catching with 500hp under the hood begging to be unleashed. I'm serious about SEMA 2025 to unveil it to the masses in its finished form.

The new hood makes it look way better. Now sell me my sticker so the CRX can be in my garage.

HOW TO dO SHITTY MODS TO YOUR CRX 101

I think a stock hood with a cutout that fits tightly to the exposed v8. Then you can play around with different scoops. Plus it looks good exposing the beast.

Love that you are making the k5 more classic. 80’s classic paint scheme maybe 2 tone with the side trim would look awesome! Paint the roof white maybe or get a tan soft top. It could be sick!

If you put a small hood spacer you could make the hood that much shorter I know your not a big fan of the hood spacers but a little one wouldn’t be bad. You would have 3 hoods at that point 😅 but options 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dude why not hinge the hood forward instead of backwards

• you can go tight to the windshield and not worry about clearance when you open the hood

•you don't need to fix your "bad" hinges if you make your own up front.

• you have no chance of your hood opening at high speed

•your hood wont fly off or get run over.

Next Year I'm going to do some 'Hood Ducting' on my 1995 Toyota Camry plus I'm lowering the hood between the headlights for the first 1/3rd of the hood. I also plan on doing the recessed area between the driver and passenger.

The hood looking sweet, also just for thought but it would be really cool if you could somehow make the hood open forwards like a corvette for example
