I know this is a stretch - but as a golfer and disc golfer I have to ask. The disc golf motion shares a lot of concepts with the golf swing. DG coaching is just getting started but not many true experts out there.
It would be so cool to see your take/explanation of the bio mechanics happening in the disc golf throw. Paul McBeth would be a great example if you give it a shot.
Love what you guys are doing.
Eureka moment. I'm a flat turn guy but had no clue what to do about it. Thanks!
ОтветитьCan you list the sequence of backswing?
I have a trouble in lifting right shoulder when setting up strong grip (right shoulder lower than left shoulder)
Great shoulder video tips. Look more relax.
ОтветитьIf I started today how long would it take to change my swing? I’m a 3 handicap
ОтветитьGreat insights!
ОтветитьI have not been allowed to touch a club (not even putting) for almost 4 months due to back surgery. I'm now clear to do whatever I want. I'd like to use this as an opportunity to improve. I'm thinking of holding off on playing and spend a few weeks on retraining at home and on the range. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьBooty view! 😂
ОтветитьThis is comedy gold. If you cannot impress them with brilliance then you dazzle them with bullshit😂😂
ОтветитьGreat job simplifying the turn, so does the first move away is started by my right shoulder while everything else stay in sync?
ОтветитьOnce again i’ve got to give you guys credit. I started watching your videos about a month ago, and I’ve learned an incredible amount from you. I’ve never heard anybody talk about shoulder rotation this way, and it makes so much sense. Same thing with your videos about hip movement and clearance. I’ve been hitting the ball with a lot more confidence and positive results as a result of the knowledge I’m gleaning from you guys, and from Milo. I love your collaboration. Thank you. 😊
ОтветитьI’ve watched all your videos and I’ve been very close to learning your Golf swing system. The Don’t turn your shoulders lesson is the game changer. After watching this video and applying it to my swing, my ball striking has improved 100%. This video is the missing link and now I am hitting flushers. You are the Best golf swing teachers I’ve ever seen. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьI’m guessing you guys prefer a shorter backswing for your system?
ОтветитьAfter a year it’s all starting to make sense. Hoping to get in for a lesson when I visit AZ in the next few months. Thanks lads
ОтветитьDoes your preferred method of swinging tend to be on the lower side of the backspin? Maybe I’m hitting too flat as opposed to hitting down on it, but getting like 1.34 smash factor with 5500 backspin with my 34 degree 7 iron. Goes like 175 yards which i guess i’m not complaining, but i was hoping to be around 7000 rpm backspin.
ОтветитьThat was great. Thanks!
ОтветитьAnother gem of a video. You folks are quickly becoming a favorite to me. Your video made me realize I was swinging along my set shoulder plane which is tilted down and away from target which was giving me fits on getting on plane. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьAwesome thanks so much guys
ОтветитьFinally can see why I’ve stood up in my backswing all these years despite everyone telling me not to. Left shoulder kicking out, because right shoulder heading back from the target line…. Light bulb !,
ОтветитьGuys! Genius . My downswing move is compressing my right shoulder towards my ribs and the club falls on to the ball. Am I right ?
ОтветитьWish I would have seen this 60 years ago. Sixty years of over the top.
ОтветитьLove that video spot on
ОтветитьI agree with the instruction, but I think the title of this video is very misleading. I think what you’re saying is you don’t turn your shoulders on a horizontal plane you turn the shoulders on more of a vertical plane, but you do turn your shoulders, so therefore, the title of this video is very misleading.
ОтветитьThis makes a lot of sense, finally! Somebody puts it so I can understand, I’m 57 and my whole life I’ve struggled with over the top which I do just like you said not to for year and now lower back problems have arrived, so I translated this as opposed turn it’s more tilt up? The club needs to go up then around? So I took this to range today and wow what a difference I wasn’t getting stuck and which forces me over the top, and club came through the zone so much easier and slices and pulls were almost gone completely! So I’m turn to achieve this I brought the club more up as apposed to around!! Is this correct? FYI I’m a 6 handicap that has survived on being able to get up and down! This may have changed my life! Am I correct?
ОтветитьGood stuff guys. I was aware of this in a way, but couldn't put it into action.
Worked along with you video and it feels great
Smooths out the transition yet really adds speed to the downswing for me anyway.
That small circle the trail shoulder makes really shows in acceleration through the hitting area.
Thanks
Fantastic, just emphasise, that the left shoulder, needs to lower at the start of the downswing.
Also, the right hip needs to be deep and deeper on the takaway 😊
Hey guys, I seem to be able to get the drill with the dowel, but I’m struggling when I add the club. How do you suggest that I transition from drill to club. Many thanks for your help. Andrew
ОтветитьI understand your moves for the right shoulder. Struggling how the left shoulder works. Often in your videos I hear up, back and away.
Is this left shoulder move a passive force or and active pulling force?
Or??
Is left arn connected to chest throughout the swings and leaves chest after impact?
ОтветитьGentlemen I think what you are teaching is brilliant. However at some point in every clip when you are illustrating the wrong way to do it gets confusing …it would be helpful to make more clear the don’t s .Again thanks for your work.
ОтветитьI’ve been looking for you guys for 4 years.
ОтветитьBeen steep for my whole life crazy. This was the last piece to the puzzle that I was finally looking for.
ОтветитьFantastic I need this thankyou 🙏
Ответить"Hit me a shot" Wow!
ОтветитьIs the vertical component shrugging the trail side scapula? Or is it more scapula retraction on a more vertical plane?
ОтветитьTilting is difficult bud neccesery
ОтветитьDoes the hit involve right arm right side apply active force or is it a passive reaction to the club swinging? Great video by the way
ОтветитьI just saw your short on hickory g the tether ball to create angular momentum. I assume that is the hit you speak of?
ОтветитьSo I cannot seem to get the club to drop at the start of the downswing. It looks like if I get my hands and club higher at the top of my backswing, then I can get the club to drip vertical then. Yes? I'm going to try this move and see what happens.
ОтветитьGreat video about not turning shoulders in the golf swing. But how does this work when you are using the driver? Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is so money, I assume this ties into the facial lines? You guys ever come to Northern CA?
ОтветитьThe simplest way to learn movement of the club is through the shoulders. I really wish teaching lower body movement was gone. It screws up so many ams and even pros.
ОтветитьOriginal instruction !
ОтветитьRemarkable.
ОтветитьSupreme...!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks....!!!!
ОтветитьStumbled upon this video out of pure luck. I say pure luck because I wasn't actively looking for anything and yet it resonated with me. I have since subscribed. I have for the past few years struggled with contact on my irons. Most misses were low on the face, distance inconsistent, or toe right short shots. Now out of the pure luck aspect, I had a year end match play event come up and literally 2 days before I had your video appear. I watched it a few times, then after work headed to my local course just to work on my game on the course, as we don't have a range. It took me several holes but by using just one little thing in this video, I started center face flushing my irons and after several more holes I noticed my ball flight come down more consistent and I felt i picked up at least 1/2 club if not a full club (or more back to a distance of a few years ago). I didn't win my match play event(would have been a better comment had it took me to victory HA!) but I felt confident and competitive against one of the better golfs in our area. I look forward to more videos and will always save this one as the trick that fixed my contact.
ОтветитьI improved through similar thought of keeping left shoulder still.
