Signfeld did have a formula, its episode premise was making fun of strangers and the people one meets... it was a mean show... early daily show pre Jon Stewart was mean and picked apart quirky people's flaws for humor in field pieces... the 90s comedy was just becoming more family home oriented after a loud angry womanizing rise of the 80s... Signfeld is mean and has become an old guard of comedy standards... there is said it!

Larry Charles' explanation of why there is no free will has permanently blown my mind. Every decision you make is based on a thread of prior decisions that, if you pull that thread further and further into the past, is based on some sort of manipulation or influence that you aren't aware of. It's true from what I can reckon.
