First goal last night was Mathews fault. Should've blocked the shot. 2nd goal was also Mathews fault on the PK his man was the point man. Marner was at fault for not picking up the D man on the 3rd goal. Nylander at fault on the 4th one gave it away for the 3 on 1.

I don't understand how some people can say Matthews is a top defensive forward. The mistakes he made defensively tonight were just amateur. This isn't the only game either.

Leafs are so bad on the blue line, like 2 or 3 of those goals were because they fumbled it at the blue line and gave up a breakaway or 2/3 on 1.

I mean just Grade A awful, skating away from the puck carrier on two of the goals, leaving two guys uncovered on another (I mean take your pick but cover SOMEBODY!). Skating around in circles in his own zone, hitting nobody, chasing Kyrou like Wiley Coyote on one of the goals. Totally a liability, did he make one play all night??!!

This has been pitiful, but a slow start is not unprecedented.

I’ve decided for my own mental health, I’m not going to rip them when they loose, even when it’s a pathetic attempt. I don’t know, maybe people are sick, tired, personal problems, who knows. The only thing that matter is getting it together. Hopefully they will.

Folks the Leafs are absolutely brutal and I watched the game on prime then shut it off after the second period. At this point I can’t see the leafs winning a game anytime soon. It’s gonna get worse before it gets better. New Coach and the same BS

The only good thing about the game was that Chris Cuthbert wasn’t doing the play by play - worst announcer by far - “Did you see that” is his patented line & he sounds like an idiot when he says it.

Red plastic noses should be mandatory equipment for Toronto players, along with jerseys, sticks, helmets, etc.

Maybe the Leafs have peaked too early...again
