Brooke, I feel like in 2024 people are realizing that society pushes us to have goals or dreams related to labor. What if you just want to do things that feel authentic as opportunities come, that keeps you financially comfortable, and that can just simply be enough. What you do now, is enough.

Allow yourself to enjoy the time that you’re in right now. Look back and remember that where you are now, is where you wanted to be years ago. Yes its good that you are thinking about how you can always level up but dont get so lost in that and enjoy your home and significant other + friends and current opportunities.

I’m a career change and business coach and can tell you what you’re feeling is TOTALLY NORMAL. No one has it all figured out! It sounds like you have a lot of potential opportunities and need some vision, structure and strategy to help keep you focused and feel like you’re moving towards something exciting. Quick exercise you can do is to take time to pause and reflect on where you want to be this time next year.

Pain pushes until a new vision pulls :)

Orthopedic surgery resident here and I have been watching your videos since we were both in high school! Your vidoes were (and still are) one of my relaxation outlets through all this school/training. Thoughts out to you and Ben, med school really tough for both parties involved but eventually there will be light at the end of the tunnel! 🩵

It’s so hard to answer what I want to do in 5 years. I feel like as a perfectionist (and I think you and I are similar) I hate setting goals because I feel like a failure if I think of something I want and then change my mind or don’t achieve it.

I’m midway through your video listening to you talk about where you see yourself in 5 years and not being able to answer it. I have struggled my whole life with an answer. I don’t have one thing I’m extremely passionate about but I have a great career right now. I feel like some people know exactly what they want and where they want to be in five, ten, twenty years and then there are others that don’t. Both can exist and still be successful.
Enjoy where you are now. You are doing extremely well for yourself!

Love the Costco hauls. I saw that you got the Costco hard seltzers. Let me know if you like the black cherry, because I had to force myself to take a second sip, but it reminded me too much of Pepto-bismol and had to throw it out. Still have 5 left that I need to give to someone else. LOL

My husband is in his second year of residency! The whole journey is so hard on everyone, including the significant other. But so worth it in the end. ❤

I think you should try a little bit everything until you know what you want to do. Some ideas: foodie series (take your friends around to their favourite restaurants/food spots), or a monthly book podcast (bimonthly book episodes of the books you have read and invite authors to interview, friends who read along the the way), interview your favourite music artists and discuss favorite playlists (EDM artists). Try a but everything until you find something you are passionate about 😊❤
