Dr.Campbell is correct that millions in India died from coronavirus . But that is a raw number out of context of A) India has a population of 1.4 billion people . The total world population is 7.5 billion so India has a pretty big chunk of humans . B.) per capita (per 100,000) people . The fact is per capita India has one of the lowest covid case and death rates in the world . also: A theory I have heard and read from several immunologists is India is a very septic country for a century or more(in part due to The British Empire's plundering it and leaving Indians poorer). Also think population density is a factor. Which would make the India-Africa comparison invalid. I took a quick look at the population density map of the world and covid deaths map in the world and there seems to be a significant overlap. Even looking at population density within a country seems to be a good predictor.
