Lanikai is gorgeous, but the traffic/parking/tourist situation is preeeeetty rough. I lived in Kalama tract for 20 years. That’s gotta be the best neighborhood in Kailua. Everything is a 10min walk; bars, beach, shopping, etc.

I'm pretty much an Enchanted Lake fan, moved there in 1966, had my paper route there, canal to the ocean, nice High School. But our old 3/2 ain't the same, now its a 1.3 million two story. Times they do change
