I have heard a theory that resonates with me if you keep your nitrates up and you have enough consumption in the tank it will keep downward pressure on your phosphates and keep them low I have had success using this method so far maybe it will work for you

When you bought the 200 did you buy the "base" tank and stand, or the "complete" versions they have on their site? Curious if the plumbing comes the same for both versions.
