In India, Dry eye problem is almost pandemic like situation, most eye specialist know nothing about it, you can find dry eye specialist only in some big cities

I went to an eye doctor in Ontario, Canada. All she did was tell me my eyes are very dry and suggest I rub 100% vitamin E cream on my lower lids. I know, from my background in cosmetic formulation, that 100% vitamin E applied directly to the eye would cause burning and irritation. So, I was left without any help.

Good information as usual. I particularly liked your steps using the internet to sort through the massive sites that come-up and drill down to those that can be helpful.

My dark circles under my eyes are getting worse 😫... any suggestions chat?

My eye doctor recommended lid wipes, prescription drops and warm compresses. He also did surgery on my lids and replaced the underside of the lid with amniotic tissue. This has helped me greatly, though I still use the wipes and drops daily.

My experience with dry eye doctors in my state is awful. So far I have gone to 3 and none of them are good at treating dry eye at least not comprehensively. Too bad one can't be treated online. very discouraging.

Hi Dr! Could you do a video on the possible causes of ghosting? It's like a slight double vision/ghostly shadow that exacerbates with high contrast and dim lighting. It's different from normal diplopia as in certain conditions you cant really notice it at all.

Talk about Drishti eye drops! They have been far and away the best thing for my eyes!

I just had laser surgery on my left eye for a retinal tear a couple weeks ago. My left eye is experiencing dry-eye from the procedure.

Hi! Have you reviewed Neuro Lenses yet? I was recommended these because the testing for it said my eyes aren’t aligned correctly and those lenses hep with that. I was in a car accident in 2018 and ever since this have had plenty of eye issues from light sensitivity, more tension headaches,dry eyes and bouts of dizziness. Anyhow They highly recommend Neurolens. They are very expensive and insurance doesn’t cover them so right away it just gives me sale vibes. I hope you are able to look into it! Thanks!

I have severe dry eye , plus, iam dehydrated.Iam having trouble clearing it up really well, because i cannot go into cataract surgery with dry eye.Iam on that autologous serum but do not know really whats its doing as my eyes still burn and feel dry. I wish your clinic was closer to me as i live in New Hampshire.There are good cataract surgeons and a retinal dr, but i do not seem as though iam getting anywhere with my opthmologist. I've been diagnosed with meibomian gland disfunction and have tried so many things and have gotten no relief. After doing some online research I found information about intraductal meibomian gland probing which sounds like it could offer a permanent cure. I cannot find anyone that performs that procedure in a 30 mile radius of Salt Lake City. Help!

Utah here, I can't find a good doc. The one I am seeing and does do some treatments including debrided my eye which I almost lost. It wouldnt heal, my eyes are only worse now in seeing him for 2 years.... I cant find anyone in those seaches or sites. 😢 I am miserable and my cornea is damaged
