Whistle 3, bell 1. (I say that cuz it’s Great Western 90’s bell and i LOVE GWR 90)
ОтветитьJust bought one and love it after watching this video. Did not know it has dual speakers, my first steam with two, sounds amazing!
ОтветитьI wish we would get whistle steam for ho 😂
ОтветитьI wanted to buy this one but I am an HO guy
ОтветитьSo cool I have the black river and western number 60 in New Jersey. It’s so cool.
Ответитьwhistle 5 on the lower notes sounds pretty cool
Ответитьmy favorite whistle is Number two
And can you runthis train? using whistle number two.
Fact: Metro Manila Train from Philippines
ОтветитьWhy did buy train with plow ? It doesn’t snow in Georgia ! 😂
ОтветитьThis Model is Incredible, The Plow on it is great.👍
ОтветитьGreat video, very nice engine. I am glad Lionel is improving smoke units. That one smokes like an MTH.
ОтветитьCool train thanks for showing 👍
ОтветитьHow’s that long tunnel of you and Chris going so far so long? You both still using it?
ОтветитьI got the DMIR. Working on a great lakes frieghter that hauls ore from the DMIR docks
ОтветитьBit of a dumb question but what is up with the glowing hopper car? That thing is glowing and changing colours, right? Or am I just seeing things?
ОтветитьIncredibly impressive video of an incredible model. Big is not always better!
ОтветитьEric - I believe you can move a train from one levl to another on your layout. If that is the case, what was the distance(in feet) you needed to make the climb from the lower level to the upper level? Many thanks
Ответитьid love lionel to make a southern railway consolidation 401
ОтветитьSuch a neat engine and a great choice!
Liking that snowplow attachment a lot
My favorite whistle is either 1 or 3 and my favorite bell is 1
Great engine and video Eric!
I like the #2 whistle, kind of that steamboat sound
ОтветитьYour opening look reminds me of 4 the last clone of Doug from the movie Multiplicity with Michael Keaton.
ОтветитьDetachable? Who in their right mind would though? I’d leave it on even if I had a desert layout. Lol
ОтветитьGreat model! Thanks Eric! I hope to find the connection of history for Burlington’s logo and Colorado Southern. Its funny how the unique features like the plow dial collectors in. I’m guilty! Neat distinction to the Consolidation line. Happy runnings.
ОтветитьLionel really went hard on the road-specific details with this model. Makes it almost hard to choose a favorite.
ОтветитьLovely loco with brawny shoulders.
I really love your flats on the upper level -- very cool!
I’m glad I didn’t pre order this. Instead I waited for the next catalog and was rewarded with the ACCURATELY MODELED READING SD45 in 2024, finally with the extended cab. Got a $600 Series X awaiting pre-order, a scale wheel Atlas “O” 4015 (SD70M) on pre order with Mr.Muffins, and the Reading SD45 with Legacy Station (7603 to be exact). I’m done with my pre orders for 2024. 🤣
ОтветитьHi Eric I have a MTH Angus 0880 I need. A little bit of help the other night I had it running on my layout and all of a sudden it just stopped in its tracks and came off the active screen and went to inactive list an now I can not get it back what a big pain.
ОтветитьYou look like that goofy kid in A Christmas Story with goggles on waiting to see Santa 🎅🏻 😆🤣😂
ОтветитьOk, dumb question of the day....
I couldn't help knowticing the Lionel Legacy sticker on the tender, is that something new ? All the videos I've watched and I don't recall seeing that....
Probably just me ????
Stay safe, RR
Very nice. That is a good looking locomotive and the plow makes it even nicer. Like all newer locomotives, it really smokes-up a storm, which is pretty cool. It looks great running around your layout and would be a fine addition to any layout, modeling that region. As usual, the #1 bell and whistle are the most prototypical. The other bells just don't sound right, too tinny and flat. The other whistles are pretty good, except #4, which sounds way too European. Other than that, they are just too 'throaty' for this locomotive. An excellent video, as always.
ОтветитьGreat history Eric
ОтветитьEric for that o gauge train my favorite whistle is number one ☝️ and my favorite bell is also number one
ОтветитьCan a dummy o gauge coupler work on the back of the tender?
ОтветитьGreat vidio, love that loco. Thanks for the morning coffee...
ОтветитьWhistle #4 😊
ОтветитьDo you know when the ES 44'S are going 2 come in Eric?
ОтветитьI wish they would put a delay in the crew talk for the brake test
They ask for a set and then immediately say good set, release. And then immediately say good brake test
Air brakes take time to set and release so I wish they’d simulate that in crew talk
Hahaha you look like the kid from A Christmas Story😂 it's a very nice train thanks for sharing
ОтветитьAnother beautiful locomotive for your collection Eric!
Congratulations and enjoy!
Thank you for sharing.😊
going flying ? love the plow !!!!!
ОтветитьGreat looking model. Wished it had the swinging bell feature. Then it would be a perfect engine for all layouts.
ОтветитьMy fav whistles were two and five. Just a thought; you could showcase a scale Kadee coupler on the pilot / snowplow..
ОтветитьVery cool looking locomotive 🚂 👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ the ride along and Ariel views of your layout are extraordinary ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
ОтветитьI would love to get this engine.
ОтветитьEric, the picture of u in the thumbnail looks like ur working on the Rio Grande Southern railroad in 1936 and you've just gotten your steam engine stuck in the snow for the fourth time. (Rio grande Southern: a narrow gauge railroad that was run by drunks and owned briefly by the US Department of Defense in WW2)
ОтветитьLove that #2 whistle
