I’m 12 and I always get looks in Sephora because even if I’m on there with a parent people think I’m gonna make skincare smoothies and buy 100s of dollars of drunk elephant when I literally just went in because my mom needed face wash

I am 12, and even though I've been to sephora I haven't bought anything apart from a salicylic acid serum to help with my acne. Man at age 10 I was still making potions out of shampoo and toothpaste-

I really wanted makeup or skincare for the longest time even before it blew up so me and my mom went to sephora and we looked and around and the mini eyeliners were $18?!? For that small thing?!?! Then we looked at face masks and it was $6 while cvs has them for $2😭

ok so i’m 13 and i’ve struggled with severe acne and acne scaring since i was 9 or 10 and people always got mad at me for not taking care of my skin well enough, and now that im ACTUALLY taking care of my skin these grown adults on the internet start making fun of me? Honestly it’s a great habit to start taking care of your skin bc acne and other conditions can be very very painful and could make people lose self confidence. Yes i agree that drunk elephant, glow recipe, (etc etc) aren’t great for people that young but please, just leave them alone and stop making fun of them for at least trying to take care of themselves ❤

im nearly 14 and i have never been to sephora. i don't think kids should have skincare routines, at least not with products that are made for people triple their age😭 but that's just my opinion so

Guy only do skin care when you start puberty and you dont have to honestly people who do it are js insecure

In reality, children who start at such a young age to use so many skin care products, especially for aging, is unfavorable, since the skin needs its natural oils, the most important thing for a child would be a dermatological facial cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. nothing else
