I’ve never tried this one but I have layton exclusif and I love it. It wasn’t love at first sniff but it’s grown on me 😅😅😅

Nice video. Ah Layton, the best scent to spray on clothes. Its because of that menthol note that I stop wearing my layton. The layton exclusif got rid if it but you lose the linearity of the original layton meaning layton exclusif starts out as a mentholess layton but morphs into a different fragrance midway. And the performance on layton exclusif is poor compared to the original layton.

But, as a fragrance for clothes, nothing bears layton! It last for days/weeks on clothes! Never losing its vanilla scent profile. So layton on clothes, and a different frag on skin. Try it you will smile each time you put the shirt/hoodie/sweater on lol

Lol funny video, Layton is a nice fragrance, grew on me too, but I prefer the Exsclusif, the menthol/vix vapour rub smell slightly confuses me also, but dry down gets better like you said! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Layton is my favorite. Gets me plenty compliments. I agree with the Batch variations. Did some research and I was told that the scent needs to sit a bit. Not sure if there’s any truth to that tho. Anyways, great review bro

Interesting about the batch variation, usually I find the samples don't perform as well as the bottle so you could be right!

Aaron Terence Hughes said the menthol in the opening is eucalyptus 😎 Personally i like that!

I also do think there is batch variations. I remember 3 years ago it was so green apple heavy ( sour green apple ) and very heavy on vanilla. Bottle i have made 2019 is more eucalyptus, sandalwood, cardamom and patchouli heavy. Not sure which one i prefer but both are beasts tho 🤷‍♂️

The cap is heavyer than the bottle 🤣

For the performance let it mature..had the same issue with my second bottle and I let it sit for a few months now it’s like my first bottle

Pretty sure Layton has been reformulated in recent years. When I first got my nose on it a few years ago it smelt different to the one I have now. And not in a good way. It also doesn’t perform as well. It blew my mind when I first experienced it. Now I wouldn’t pay the price for it.

Layton is my favorite fragrance. And it’s in my sexy fragrances collection along with Side Effect.

First time I tried this it blew my mind. Smell was true 10/10. I’ve since tried other batches and they are nowhere close to being as good. Made me never pull the trigger unfortunately

Thanks for this video. It hasn’t wowed me enough yet after a sample very early in my journey and some occasional sprays at the store. Been contemplating just pulling the trigger on a bottle if I see a discount. I think I’ll get another more substantial sample and give it some good wears. If I end up loving it I will then look at investing in the full presentation. At my current rate though a 10ml of anything could probably last me years lol
