RTX 3060 Ti vs 2080 Super - $400 GPU Beats $700?

You know i had a 1660 super for 2 years now its time to upgrade to 3080 (Btw i dont have 1500$ for 3090 i have 700$ after 7 month saving)

i OWN a strix 2080Super that runs @2000 mhz. that 3060ti IS NOT worth the upgrade. As you stated. BUT! id buy a 3060 if i still had my 1060 in use. The only real upgrade from a $$$ standpoint is a 3080ti or 3090. Lets be honest.

From the fps i seen i dont se how 5 fps at most

I literally just bought a whole new prebuildt pc cuz literally no 30 rtxor 20 rtx are available here, so I'm upgrading to a pc with 3060ti and a r5 3600x from a pc with a gtx 1060 6gb and a i5 8400. God damn I was desperate for an upgrade lmao

This is the only video I’ve found that says otherwise. I’ve seen many videos where the 2080ti performs better and higher frame rates than the 3060ti, 3060, 2080. I have the 2080ti and looking into others but I consistently get 180-200 on Warzone and it’s been higher. But that’s consistent

o how the tables have turned on the private market, I sniped a MSI 2080 super gaming trio X today at $660 USD, while all 3060 ti cost a minimum of $960 USD locally here

i just upgraded my GPU for 4yrs from GTX 1060 6GB to RTX 3060 TI and wow the improvement is very noticeable.

we can't find any of these on the new and in the used the 3060ti is about 1300-1500$ and the 2080 is 900-1000$

I considered getting the 3060 ti but they were so overpriced (perhaps unsuprisingly)
I got a secondhand 2080 super fe on ebay for $330
it works well and is perfect for my 1440p 165hz monitor

I'm glad I came back to this video. Although I'd absolutely get the 3060 Ti if it were available at retail prices, checking eBay and Newegg has convinced me to get the RTX 2080 Super. Prices have may have come down for new graphics cards, but not enough where cards are available at MSRP. So it seems like the roles have reversed. I can pick up a 2080 Super for about $400-450 on ebay while a 3060 Ti costs roughly $200 more (assuming I can even find it).

Had Gigabyte gaming Oc 2080super for 2 years and it was pretty damn good under those years in 1440p, did me really good actually.
you dont need anything more than a 2070-2070s-2080s for solid 1440p numbers.

Basically, either pay £500-300 on a used 3060 Ti on ebay, or £250 on a used 2080 Super, for almost identical performance, yeah I'll go with the latter, and just upgrade later

"Kills" is a huge overstatement, it's better by ~2%

Previously very powerful cards like the 1080ti and 2080ti/s are on eBay for what I'd consider 'bargain' prices (finally, after 3 years of ridiculousness)... if only nVidias MSRP actually manifested in any meaningful way, it'd make the 3060ti a no brainer.... but since the 3060ti is like £450 or a used 2080s is closer to £300, I'm still thinking the 2080s is easily the better choice. Then again even the 1080ti at around £185 looks appealing lol. Having a 2060 is annoying, as it's perfectly capable and DLSS drastically boosts its capabilities....so an upgrade really has to either be a significant model jump, or a significant bargain.

This means that the 3060ti is better than the series x since it is supposed to be the same performance of the 2080 super

any newer model 60 kills previous 80 (mostly) but they dont age well

When GPUs below 3090 used to run games at 4k with decent FPS. Now can barely reach constant 4k60 using 3080 with the same game withcher 3 after the new gen update.

I paid 900 Canadian for my 2080 super and to see how cheap the new cards have become vs there performance feels like a slap in the face, but I’m still glad the price to performance it better on the newer cards

looking back on this it's crazy how the people who got an RTX 2080 FE on launch just to get RT as fast as possible got their GPU beat by the lowest tier card with an FE variant in just one generation. Absolutley nuts
