I cant believe you stocked your pond with carp. That is not a native fish. Have you not read about the problem we are having with that fish? You do know if you added aeration you wouldn't have that problem with the vegetation

2. The school will confiscate them.
3. When you go to retrieve your "airpods", take someone else's.

Donald Trump:
"This is the worst trade deal, in the history of trade deals"
Did the fish multiply and finish the grass?
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьSo did it work?
ОтветитьThey will clean it out and get huge. They are like water goats. They ate all the hydrilla in our pond. Now that everything is clean they don't have much to eat. I noticed when I mow the grass they start coming to the bank to eat grass clippings. Now when I mow I cut it so the clippings are blown out towards the pond. I look at mowing now as feeding the fish. Kind of fun watching them when I am done. We got ours from Arkansas also.
ОтветитьIs there an update on this?
ОтветитьHow did the ponds turn out?
Ответитьthis video made me angry - you didn’t show if it worked or not what a let down!
ОтветитьI hope they eat lily pads!

ОтветитьUpdate? Do you feel the carp impacted the algae/grass/etc...?
ОтветитьGood ideas! Where exactly address did you get the grass carb? Thanks very much!
ОтветитьI was looking in your videos because I wanted to see your ponds later.
I have a 300 m2 pond in my garden. Lots of green - all types - crystal clear water but 3 at 70 cm and 3 at 40 cm can NOT remove the green.
Suggested stocking rates for grass carp are from 10 to 20 per acre. Stock 10 per acre for general maintenance, 15-20 per acre for 1/2 to completely covered ponds. Control is achieved within one year at these stocking levels. At half these levels, control may take up to two years.
ОтветитьI just dumped my bag out on the ground and picked them up one by one and tossed them in.
ОтветитьAren't grass carp an invasive species to north america?
ОтветитьWhere's the place?
ОтветитьI would like to know how your grass carp did over the last 4 years. Your ponds look allot like mine, are you in MO?
ОтветитьMy one ate all lilies in my pond
ОтветитьHow long they took to growth to adult?
ОтветитьThe non native vegetation looks beautiful!
ОтветитьWould love too see a video on how it did
ОтветитьHow big are they now?
Ответить. .
.
I was taught that you leave the fish in the bag either floating on top of the pond or in a bucket of the pond water (still in the bag) unti the temperature equalises and then release them. The fish were not eating the 'moss' in the bucket either they were gasping for air as heat diminishes water oxygen levels. I hope it all worked out though :)
ОтветитьWow I paid $25 ea. this year in NY.
ОтветитьI think you should leave more fish
ОтветитьWhere can I buy grass carp in Washington
