One thing I thought of very recently. I've seen TONS of videos about revolutions against the upper class and the mindsets and philosophies behind them, but I don't think I've ever seen anything about the philosophies and ethical teachings that rulers and aristocrats received that made them completely believe that the system was right as it was. I'm honestly curious about the ethical principles that led them to believe it was right for them to live in luxury while others barely lived. Would be interesting to see a dive into that, especially for anyone who has even a casual interest in storytelling as it might help flesh out real people as well as fictional characters to have more than just "aristocrats are evil and think they should own everything".
