Много лишнего , зачем намазывать смазку , а потом смывать ? Есть спец смывки . Короче заумная шляпа . Про резиновые перчатки , сами когда попробуете поматеритесь .И самое главное замечание , нет комментариев , для чего и почему . Ролику диз , а мастеру научиться давать комментарии..

Very sad this doesn't fix all the creaking steer tubes that RockShox released. Scram also leaves all the riders hung out to dry who have this issue. This completely explains why the trash can is labeled Scram warranty bin in my shop.

this was a bunch of help to see how it comes apart etc. i had been using mine locked out all the time and i hit a dip and heard like a snap and the lock out stopped holding at all. i took it apart on the oil side and found a little steel like nipple threaded on one end and put it back into the top lockout section on its bottom was threaded for the nipple so i screwed it back where it came out of and put fresh oil. after all that it didn't work, the lockout doesn't work at all, i wonder if something else broke, Does anyone know what this is?

I see that this was a year ago. I have a 06 Cannondale Rush and it has a Rock Shock Recon on it from the same year. I like the bike and the shocks. I want to service my shocks and rebuild the shock. “Friends “ tell me I’m wasting my time. Do you think I’m wasting my time with it? I’m in touch with SRAM and they’re getting me a rebuild kit for it so I’ve already crossed that bridge

How much oil goes in?

Where can I get the service kit, including the outer dust seals?

Excellent ! Thanks so much. I'm restoring a Cannondale mountain bike with Dart 2 turnkey forks. I couldn't have serviced the forks without your help. All went smoothly. Found that the damper wouldn't take the full 20ml of 15wt oil but the forks are now as good as new.

А нафига вообще эту процедуру делать? Масло в замкнутом контуре - в вилке. Зачем там менять масло, это же не ДВС с поршнями и камерами сгорания.
