What's the Point of Green Gas Airsoft Guns?

I have a C02 P99, the co2 is in the gun itself. And the mag is this little stick thing.

C02 is definitely not cheaper especially when you’re throwing away half full canisters

I hate green gas, it never works

Green Gas also has Silicone Oil in it, which Lubricates your Airsoft gun's barrel as you're using it, which effectively eliminates the need to manually lubricate your airsoft gun barrel every now and then (Though you may need to clear any buildup that occurs, however it will take A LOT of use of the Airsoft Gun before the buildup actually starts to cause issues).

In my case, the co2 m18 shoots like, low 400s and green gas shoots around 350. Makes more sense for a secondary that I'm not using past 20 feet to shoot on the lower side. Call me crazy but I don't play airsoft to intentionally injure people cough*kicking mustang*cough

I've never understood why manufacturers don't modify valves to have the same effective output as green gas. It would improve efficiency and lessen wear.

I dont own a gas airsoft gun but if I will buy one it will be green gas because most gas airsoft guns use green gas so if i buy a co2 pistol I will not have to worry about finding a good co2 primary

make it easy now u can get the co2 re fallible 12g cartridges now use r134a even more kick

The magazine on my TT-33 is too small for a C02 can

Tho I would prefer that because the seal around the green gas imput breaks so much

I use a glip glorp 3000 from gladion they have good space rifles for cheap like $30,000 shniples that’s like $800 earth dollars

Red gas works best, no slowing down during full auto and always empties the mag. Green gas is annoying unless you’re playing in the sun during a hot summer day.

You neglected that CO2 is harmful, not only to the environment but to human life. A few pistols firing CO2 in a confined area, such as a badroom, or hallway, aka indoors, can be as harmful as letting your car stay running in a closed garage. Granted, most people will only get a headache, but still... better to use green gas for less waste also.

Green gas self lubricant helps too... Especially when it's either too cold or hot

Also you cant top up a co2 can, if you need to top up your gas and your co2 is half empty you just need to throw the half full one out

Tbh I prefer electric cuz I can recharge and go. Also a back up battery in case I forgot to put the first one in at home.

The reason I hate C02 is that you have to get a new cartridge in that bad boy after 4 mags and the top of my mag exploded when I put a new one in don’t know how that happebd

i dont think the TM Ruger LCP could ever fit a CO2 cartridge unless sized up, which defeats the purpose of it being called the LCP ( L ightweight C ompact P istol)

I use co2 because the quality of the materials used on co2 guns is much better than green gas.

U cant even use alot of co2 guns in your local fields because alot of them are over powered! (Especially cheaper nonblowback ones) so safer option between the 2 if u want to actually use ur gun in airsoft matches is green gas
