Finally Got the Shot I Dreamt Of… and Put @ThomasHeatonPhoto Theory to the Test

Hi Darren, Pine island is my go to spot in Connemara. I’ve gotten the northern lights and Milky Way over it and taken shots from all angles both looking at the island and up through the trees with the northern lights dancing above it. I can’t wait to see where this spot is.

Fantastic vlog, Darren. Such a stunning location! I love that morning light in your images, the mist and reflections, and the drone footage is amazing.

I think taking out the cables is allowed as there are plans to bury them in the future.

A beautiful setting except for those damn power lines.

Love the conditions you had (I was there in December last year - completely different in the winter greys), your content and quality of your walk throughs are top notch - helping me on my journey to being a better photographer.
